Good quality, good performance SUV.

Hyundai Santa Fe is a very good vehicle. The top of the line trim has every feature that the more expensive brands offer and then some. The one thing I have not been able to do is to connect a blue tooth CD player so that it can play through the audio system. (Since it does not have a built in cd player and I have a huge collection of music).

Great in almost every catagory

I really like my 2023 Santa Fe but there is room for improvement in the ride noise category. I believe it is a combination of tire selection and needing more bottom & side insulation. Also improvement in door insulation and door seal can't hurt. I really like all the features and ride,....it is just not as quiet as I believe it should be.

Great vehicle, not the best dealer

Very great car, bought the 23 model instead of the 24 with the model change. Beautiful inside and out. The dealership I bought it at was not great, their service was outstandingly sub-par. At 83 years old, I have purchased many cars including 3 other Hyundais, buying this car at Kuntz Hyundai of Sycamore IL was the worst experience buying a car I have ever had. After the purchase there was cosmetic issues they said they would fix, interior and exterior, tried to contact the manager and got no response online, over the phone, and in person. Hyundai of Rockford Illinois is much better and is where I get my service done now.

2003 Santa Fe Calligraphy

I absolutely love my Santa Fe Calligraphy. It is stylish, roomy, has so many bells, whistles and safety features it runs a close tie to many luxury cars. Interior is beautiful and I never had any mechanical issue with all the latest computer stuff. I also love the display in the windshield I hardly ever look at my dashboard anymore. The 2003 Santa Fe Calligraphy is by far the best car i ever owned

Horrible interior design

Not sure who designed this, but the interior is design is horrible. The center console is useless. Rattles, in the way, & the styling on the dashboard is an opportunity for dust everywhere everywhere.

Great car, bad service department

Sales is great to work with, many issues with the service department. They are difficult to deal with. Unfortunately cannot recommend them to anyone who wants to purchase a hyundai. Salesman Ed was tge best

Almost Great

Dependable, quality vehicle with a couple of irritating flaws. Transmission doesn't shift smoothly at times and there are infrequent hesitations. The Center console shelf design is POOR. Auto lock doesn't always work.

Two major problems

Overall I like my Santa Fe. It runs well and has lots of cargo space. However, there are things that I do not like and one that simply does not work right at all. First off, Hyundai has screwed up cruise control. Cruise control is a feature that did not need to be "improved". When I activate cruise control, it also activates lane assist. It also shuts off as you approach slower traffic. I don't like this, and therefore I do not use cruise control. The bigger problem is the phone system. It drops calls after about 30 seconds. So, If I have an incoming call, I either ignore it, or pick up my phone (while driving) and turn the car speaker off. The dealer was unable to fix this big problem.

Poor rear seat design and has not been fixed yet.

Your Field Engineer refuses to come to my dealer and ascertain the problem with my rear seat. This is unacceptable. The dealer ‘s service manager has done everything recommended by Hyundai but to no avail.

I hate it

I hate this car. I named her Karen because the amount of alarms and bells and warnings is ridiculous and they have a hair trigger. The auto stop turns off the air conditioner or heater so I have to remember to turn it off before I can drive anywhere. The blue link is invasive. I wish I hadn’t bought this car, I regret it.

We purchased a base model,, and had heated seats added. The 4 cylinder engine makes the car feel a little under powered. Other than that, we are happy with the vehicle. Thank you very much, and have a great day.

My third Santa Fe

This is my third Santa Fe. I have LOVED them all! I have no problems and just do my normal maintenance. The electronics were tricky at first, but I think I have them down now. It’s the perfect size for me!

Nice vehicle, good value.

Spare tire, wireless connection would be nice. Very difficult to find and learn about its specific features in the tutorial Videos. We have been skipping using some features because we can’t easily find their video and when we do, it is generic and not specific to the model. Why not have one single video to explain all the features of each specific model and trim.

Dependable, comfortable, economical

It is our third Santa Fe. Still have our 2013 with 218000 + miles. Its a great car, Live north east NY. Body shows very little rust. We add about a quart of oil every month. It owes us nothing and it is great for a second car. We recently purchased a 2023 Santa Fe and so far it is running well with little issues

Outstanding Vehicle

Great performance and reliability in a nicely designed vehicle. I’ve been in SUV’s that cost far more by other manufacturers I was less impressed with. This vehicle is truly a great value and a pleasure to own.

constant problems with fuel injectors

constant problems with fuel injectors, error codes come up about engine control system, made three trips to dealer, Bergstrom, supposely repaired, and codes came up again yesterday, i had made it clear to Bergstrom we were leaving on a lengthly trip and didnt need any problems, however it seems we will be traveling in an auto I do not TRUST.

2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy

Seating is uncomfortable and road noise is very loud. The Calligraphy does not come with a space tire or a tiny spare. Had a tire blow out due to road hazard, had to be towed forty-five miles. I haven't figured out what a Tire Repair Kit substitution is. I think for a car in that price range it should have a spare tire. I like the styling, and the interior is very well done. Mileage is a big plus. Overall, a nice car, but expected a little more for the cost of the car. Upgrade comfort and noise level in the car and I would think about buying another one.

Its a nice vehicle, reliable

A smother ride would be nicer. Sirius FM should come standard in every vehicle. back up cam should offer a recording feature that auto records when it senses a vehicle or object is too close. Front camera should be standard with a service/subscription option. All seats should be electric moving/reclining - not manual. Wipers leave a lot to be desired.
