Very reliable

Long distance driving comfortable. Has great pick up. My husband complains seat doesn't go low enough for him to get in on passenger side. Wish the coffee holder area in side door was pouched out more to accommodate cups better. Perfect for me.

Vehicle has performed well

The car has performed well. I have also received good service and support from Billion Auto--Hyundai in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. My one concern is that the passenger side post is situated in such a way as to cause a blind spot when wanting to turn right.

Nice car.

The car is nice- drives very well, great mpg. It's comfortable for the most part. I do not like the way the infotainment system works nor the controls for the HVAC. It befuddles me that I have to search for the fan controls (especially considering they are not lighted) and the drive mode is a dial that is not only lit, but is big as day. It's frustrating searching high and low to change basic functions on the infotainment system. The display size seems a tad too small. I abhor emergency braking- it happens more times than not to where it is absolutely not needed causing fear for me (the actual driver)! I needed a new car because of my commute to work. This is my 3rd Santa Fe, and had I known what I know about this car now, I wish I would have kept my older Santa Fe.

Nice Quiet Comfortable Ride

I like the styling better than the new body, so I am glad we bought when we did. When shopping for a new vehicle, the things important to us were all satisfied by the Hyundai Santa Fe at the best price point. Our criteria were based on long distance travel. Smooth ride, adjustable lumbar support, quiet, handles well. My only disappointment is in the safety/convenience technology. My position is that a convenience feature is only a feature if it works 100% of the time. Short of that it is just an aggravation. The two most prominent examples of this are the rear hatch and the door locks. The hatch does not reliably open when you stand behind it. However, if you press the button, it knows you have the key and opens the hatch, so it's not a proximity issue. Other times I will walk along side the vehicle and the hatch will open when I don't want it to. When using the touch sensor on the door handle to lock the doors, I can never be sure it's actually locked. It makes a click, indicating it sensed the touch, but then when I go back to open the door, I can hear it lock when I touch it. At this point, the only thing you can do is dig around in your pocket for the fob, since it won't respond at all to touch. Another issue is that the doors will not all unlock when the car is turned off, no matter how I make the settings. As a result, I have to use the manual unlock button to allow access to the rear if I need to take somehting with me. When I do that, I can no longer lock the car with the button on the door. If I set it to unlock when I turn off the ignition, then I have to put it into park first, which means I have to stop. The engine turns off when I stop, then right back on when it's put into park, then off again by pushing the button on the dash. None of this makes sense to me. If the car is locked and I walk up to it with the key, it should unlock when the door button is touched. Nothing else should matter. If it is unlocked and I am outside with the key in my pcoket, then touching the button should cause it to lock. Period. Again, nothing else should matter. But it does. I have a spreadsheet with all the issues I have found if anyone is interested. There are too many to detail here.

Comfort and Safe

my biggest complaint is the windshield wipers. when a ice storm is predicted there is no way to lift up and out the wipers so they don't ice up on the windshield. this is my 3rd Santa Fe and I've complained about this issue on every one. why can't this be done? my husband has a GM SUV and he goes out and lifts the wipers off his windshield ....

Great looking SUV but some issues

5 Star style inside and out. Fit and finish is average (3 star), gas mileage terrible (1 star) and no spare tire (0 stars). Many plus and minus attributes but average overall. A few tweaks could make this 4-5 stars.

Love it!!

This is my third Hyundai Santa Fe and I absolutely love it! I will never own another car. It’s a basic car so no bells and whistles. The only complaint would be the seats are not comfortable and I hate the fabric seats. I did buy lumbar supports that helped and seat covers to protect the fabric.

Had horn replaced a few months ago, it is not working again?

Great mileage and performance. Like the looks of the 23 . Like the service department on Tyler, they are friendly and prompt to service. Salesman Matt is a great salesman and always has an honest outlook and great knowledge on how the little things work. Won't agree however on the ugliness of the newer Santa Fe.

Loyal Hyundai client, but disappointed with the technology.

I'm generally very happy with it. However, it is extremely disappointing that it takes orders very slowly and usually reacts late to the commands on the screen. It's not reliable and may take the commands wrong, or you feel like it didn't take the command and you try it again, then it takes the same command multiple times, etc. The navigation map is not up to date and doesn't consider the traffic. Thus, usually takes me through the fastest route in theory, but there might be a traffic issue. It tries to prefer the highways to make it faster, but sometimes, inside roads are more open and reliable, etc.

Bluelink Disappointing

I love my Santa Fe except for Bluelink. It hasn't worked since about 3 months after purchase. The onus is on me to fix it via software download. I was told I couldn't be in my driveway and to drive a mile from my house to download. Why?? I was sent a link to download to a USB to then plug that in my car. The download is too big for my USB. Not making another purchase to do Hyundai's job.

THE CAR IS FINE.

The My Hyundai Website needs help!! I had my first (8000 mile) Complimentary Service done at 7929 miles on 12/10/2024. The MyHyundai Website is telling me I had service at 5000 miles which is wrong and in RED LETTERS, "Maintenance Required" at 8000 miles (A BIG RED CHECKMARK IS ON THE SIDE OF THE PICTURE OF MY CAR)!! i'm SERIOUS about taking care of my car and I'm following the requirements of set by your company. Is this a Germaine problem, a Hyundai problem or a Blue Link problem? Who knows??

Had just over one year very pleased .

Have no problems, miss some of the extra features I had on nissan rogue sv. Overall super vehicle. Grandson and granddaughter both have Sat fe and love it. Good gas mileage. May well be my last vehicle at age 79.

Love my Santa Fe

My 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy is my favorite car I've ever owned. When I went to purchase a new car, I drove almost every other make of car in its class and I kept coming back to it. It offered everything I was looking for and more, with quality, style, and a price in my price range. I'm very proud of my Santa Fe and still get a thrill every time I drive it!

2023 Sante Fe

The Sante Fe is a nice vehicle. This is my second one. Drives easily and comfortable. Has a lot of safety equipment which is one reason I purchased again. I did have to have two transmissions installed due to transmission failure in this 2023 Sante Fe. I was without the vehicle for three months due to repairs in 2024. I have no idea why these transmissions failed (2 transmissions in 3 months).

I love my Santa Fe

Overall great vehicle. It has a nice ride. It handles great. It is comfortable and stylish. The gas mileage is decent. I love the sound system. I don't like some of the safety features, that don't allow me to control my vehicle. Too bad you guys boxed out the new Santa Fe, it is really ugly. Now I have to find a different car when I buy a new one.

A Good Vehicle

I have owned five Santa Fes over the past years and they have served me well. This model was good but a little smaller than others had been. I had it for a little over a year and then traded up to a Palisade.

Love the style.and smart features

I have had the horn replaced 3 times. I bout the car brand new. A few months after having it the horn went out. I have had the car almost three years. I am still having problems out of the horn. It is annoying.

Hyundai Santa Fe calligraphy is loaded except for heated mirrors.

This is the first car I have purchased for me as I have always had a company vehicle. I wanted a BMW, but they are expensive to service and run on premium gasoline. I looked at the Toyota Rav 4, while the engine maybe dependable, the extras in the vehicle are lacking especially the comfort. I really like the Hyundai. Is it build with the surround cameras and lane assist-yes it is. I am currently driving a Palisade Comfort as a rental car until my Volvo XC60 company car is available, and I have to say it is nice, but built cheaply. It is a 2023, and plastic pieces are popping off on the outside and some other things that make me think, should I sell my Santa Fe. Until I drove the Palisade, I wouldn’t have considered getting rid of my Santa Fe, because the new Boxy style is not attractive to me. They say it is close to a Range Rover-and I say not true, I drove the defender as my rental that uses premium gasoline and got 14 miles a gallon and was nice, but still not that comfortable. I wouldn’t buy a Tesla, but did ride in ine(Uber) and it was the quietest and smoothest riding car I have ever ridden in. Maybe if they were hybrid. My husband drives a Tacoma and before that a Jeep Wrangler, and a GMC Yukon Denali. And my company cars have mainly been ford Escapes and they are a hard no to buy. Would I buy a Hyundai again? Yes, maybe. You get a ton of luxury features that don’t cost a ton more and they are reasonably priced. Their resale is not great, so buy it to drive it forever. I hear the electric is nice, but the hybrid versions don’t really offer much mileage additions for the added cost. What would I like more from the vehicle? Better color choices like the beautiful grays and greens. Hyundai doesn’t change colors often and the choices are not great. Heated mirrors. I wouldn’t buy also like it to parallel park hands free. I wouldn’t buy like them to place the usb ports where drinks don’t spill on them and fry them. But I love that if I someone gets to close to my vehicle, I can have it back out so I can get in it. That is a plus! Mine is white with tan interior. I hope this review helps you in your decision making.
