Great suv

This is my 3rd Santa Fe and I will never have another SUV that isn't a Hyundai. You can't find a better SUV for the money! The options I have are way more than I need, but ate very nice to have. My Santa Fe is very comfortable to drive and it's a very comfortable ride as well. I love my car!

Beautiful but lack bells and whistles

I had more issues and concerns than I expected with a brand new vehicle. It doesn't have an automatic trunk. Most vehicles you can push a button fton the inside or on the key phob to open but you have to get out to open.

What a great car with a peppy engine!

It has been my first new car purchase and I have not been disappointed! The 2.5L turbo is excellent and in fact is so quick to accelerate that my husband likes the initial acceleration better than his Infiniti G! Comfortable ride, low noise, smooth handling and great options such as cooled/heated seats, heated steering wheel and amazing safety features made this an easy choice.

Comfort for a 6'5" male

My husband and I took the vehicle on a trip from Michigan to the west coast and he was very comfortable as a passenger and as a driver. Our vehicle has the heads up display which was very helpful to my husband; he was born with a cataract in his left eye and felt much more comfortable driving this vehicle.

Warranty is fake/a lie

Snake oil salesmen work for Hyundai. They say bumper to bumper warranty and then sell you a car with a defective windshield and don’t fix it when it breaks less than 6 months in when your car is parked out front of your house with no trees above it and no one going near it at all (have it on security camera). Bottom line these people are liars and scammers. Car is good, but I had to pay $900 to fix the defective windshield

Perfect SUV

We decided on the Hyundai Santa Fe because of the warranty. It gets excellent gas mileage (which really helps today!) and it handles very good. This is our first vehicle with adaptive cruise control and lane assist and we absolutely love it. All of our vehicles from now on will definitely have these features. We are very satisfied with our Santa Fe.

Someone hit me while he was taking a left less than 2 weeks after purchase

I have been a loyal Hyundai customer for years. I trade in my vehicle when it is 3 years old for a new one. This last time someone hit me (his fault) and my car was in the shop for 3 MONTHS!!!! I will never purchase another Hyundai, nor recommend this brand to anyone. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THEY KEPT ME HANGING FOR 3 MONTHS, ALWAYS PROMISING IT WOULD BE READY THE NEXT WEEK, BUT IT NEVER WAS!! NOW I HAVE A VEHICLE THAT HAS A HISTORY OF AN ACCIDENT-HOW DOES THAT WORK FOR RESALE?

I like this car

My Santa Fe is very good. Comfortable and good ride. Sport mode give me good handling on windy country roads where I live. Front passenger seat is comfortable, and my grand daughters love the rear seat pull down arm rest with cup holders. Being a SUV there is plenty of room for cargo. I can fit 8-foot 2x4’s inside easily. The extra framework under the floor in the rear is useless. But removing it gives me extra cubic feet of space. The smart cruise control is wonderful but the lane keeping puts me a little closer to the left lane marker then I like. That should be adjustable. Also, never to sure about the sensitivity of the windshield wipers. Which way is more sensitive? Manual and real world do not agree. However, not having a spare tire is a real problem. I got a flat. Tire repair kit did nothing. Rip inside wall of tire to big. 3 hours of waiting for tow truck and then at dealer and the had to come back next day. You need to have a spare tire. It is your customers insurance policy. However, over all experience with car and dealer has been good. I would recommend Hyundai to any one

Worth Every Penny

Our Santa Fe has all the fine qualities of a vehicle that costs twice as much. The ride and handling are superb, the fuel economy is outstanding, and the vehicle doubles as a tough truck. I love it.

Value for Money. Best in the price range

Car is great. Smart Cruise Control really makes the driving comfortable. Cargo Space is great. However, the gear shift area are too cluttered. The comfort of the seat can be improved. Toyota Camry has a great comfort & lower back support. Hyundai cars can also have that.

Not satisfied with dealership after purchasing vehicle. Was told bumper to bumper coverage for three year. I had a screw in tire and had to buy a new tire out of my pocket. Was to I had 3 years maintenance and care. Around 5 months after purchasing they detailed it with appointment. Call to set appointment to get vehicle detailed at 11 months. Was denied. Was told by management that they did not detail vehicles. I explained I had it detailed once already. Management just repeated we do not detail vehicles and there is no three year care. I asked, them why did your salesman tell me there was. Why did your salesman detail my vehicle when I called five months after I purchased it. Not pleased!

I love the Santa Fe its like a mini Palisade, I just wish it had a 3rd row seating, sun/moonroof, but overall nice roomy vehicle with great features, I love the exterior and interior colors, I give it a 4.

Very easy to drive

It is comfortable and easy to drive for my wife and I. A lot a room for kids and any kinds of shopping. Has shades at the back doors to protect the kids from the sun light. The self drive feature is very helpful in long trips.

I’m used to Korean car quality Dependability and Workmanship, I really appreciate that there’s a lot of thought that goes into your vehicles it says if someone drove them for a while and then management took used from the people who drove the cars and implemented the best suggestions

Don't ask

Last week I would have said everything was good except speed control does not work, this week for reason unknown the transmission has to be replaced. My car is 1 year old with 11,000 miles. The working parts of the car are very nice. Comfortable for long trips.

Not what I thought

Chose something else I should’ve went to other car company first maybe I wouldn’t have never brought here some one told me from corporate that they were going to pay me for not being able to drive my car and let me no when it got out the shop and they never returned my calls she lied and I don’t like a liar ?

no better or worse than expected, except...

owned a Santa Fe from 2003-2017 and this car is quite similar in many aspects. phone integration system is horrendous, can't get navigation to work on any phones, despite everything always working fine on our Sonata. extra storage space under trunk is a big plus. sight lines are very good.

Poor customer service, vehicle has had 3 issues in less than 1 year

Good looking vehicle, starts and runs good most of the time. The interior and exterior has very good design. It should have come with a spare tire and jack, but they were trying to save money and have the vehicle have better MPG by losing the weight. I would have had the additional cost over missing an uncle's funeral for a flat tire.
