If you want fun drive this car

I'm 68 years old and I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. By far the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz limited is the most fun I've ever had driving a car. Best sound system and driving experience.Thank you Hyundai!

My 1st truck

What a head Turner. Seems others like the look of my new vehicle as much as me. I thought I'd be giving up some comfort going from a Lincoln to this Santa Cruz...that has not been the case. I highly recommend the Santa Cruz to anyone considering a new vehicle at this time.

Great ride

It rides very smoothly, handling bumps and holding the road. The acceleration is excellent. There is lots of room. I find the storage areas in the bed very convenient. The styling is sharp, I've had people come up to me and tell me they think its a good looking ride. I'm glad I bought it.

Good overall

The turbo model is ok but the transmission stutters at low speed. The price is a little high. Other then that it’s fine. I think I would have been happier with the normal transmission. The bed cover is nice.

Love My Santa Cruz SEL Premium.

Love the look and features

Be careful when it comes to your radiator because it is not protected like it should be. A rock hit and damaged our radiator after only having the truck for a little under a month and the warranties did not cover this repair. We had to us our road hazard insurance.

Unfortunately our local dealer did not have color I wanted, nor wanted to deal with our trade-in. Did not make effort to locate vehicle I wanted. Had to travel good distance to dealer who meet my request. Glad I did. Rep, Andre, made it all worth the effort.

Had many Ford SportTracks over many years. Couldn’t find replacement till the SantaCruz. Size is perfect for my needs. Color is exceptional, really fun to drive. Lov’n it. Doesn’t make me feel my age!

Unique and Useful

This is one of the more unique vehicles on the road at this time. The bed is useful and is more than adequate for household tasks, including hauling appliances or large pieces of wood for weekend projects. Handling is engaging, performance in the turbo is quite fun. Overall, inclement weather handling is good while off road driving is ok. The efficiency is nice for a turbo, the interior is solid and functional with a surprising amount of headroom and legroom (I am 6'5"). Overall, I am quite happy with it.

We were told by our son to check out the Hyundai dealership in Duluth, MN, they had some good prices and wonderful to work with. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE STYLING AND FUNCTIONALITY OF THE TRUCK.ITS JUST ENOUGH FOR MY NEEDS ,NOT TOO BIG AND OVERWHELMING.,THIS IS A VERY ACCESSABLE VEHICLE.AS I PREVIOUSLY OWNED A SMALLER, OLDER, 2008 CHEVY COLORADO,AND WAS USE TO THE DYNAMICS OF BEING IN A TRUCK. AS FOR THE TECHNOLOGY,THIS OBVIOUSLY WAS HEAD ABOVE,AND IT WAS LIKE GOING FROM A BIPLANE,TO THE STARSHIP ENTERPRISE,AND I GUESS FOR MYSELF, THAT MAKES DRIVING A JOY.

2023 Santa Cruz Limited

3 weeks old/ 700 miles: Great salesman and good dealership experience. Very happy with vehicle. Impressively smooth, quiet ride. Love all the cameras. Use them every day. Great sound system & NAV. Great safety, without being intrusive to driving. I'm 6'4" and very comfortable. Really have to offer some better paint options. All but the white are faded, dull and do not compliment all the flat black trim. Limited wheels are the only choice. Some reds, yellows, metallics are needed. Hyundai has some beautiful blues and other colors. The black interior is very nice, but how about some nice red, saddle or other options. Dual exhaust tailpipes? Limited shouldn't need phone cable. Hyundai self parking? Definitely an attention getter. How about removable targa or t-tops? How about a sporty coupe, convertible or even sedan off this raised SAV platform? Great warranty!

Santa Cruz exceeded my expectations

I selected the Santa Cruz for its smaller size and functionality. However, I really appreciate the overall high quality of the vehicle. This does not ride like a truck at all - it is very smooth and comfortable. I can't wait to take this on long driving trips. The interior is quiet, the seats are comfortable and the engine/transmission work effortlessly together. And the styling is drop-dead gorgeous and a 10year powertrain warranty.

The only two problems that I found so far with 2000 miles on it are first as you start to takeoff it hesitates a little and then everything is normal second the windshield wipers. If you get ice on your windshield you can’t lift them up to get the ice off they hit the hood piss poor design.

As close to perfect vehicle that is currently available today.

Very unique design. The smoothest and quietest truck I’ve driven. Exceptionally comfortable leather seats. The turbo engine is quick and makes it a blast to drive in the city or the highway. The AWD system works great in ice/snow (especially in snow mode). Back seat is roomier than I expected.

Excellent performance after 1000 miles

Santa Cruz provides an exceptionally smooth ride, with easy to integrate tech. The controls are easy to navigate. The trunk has lots of features that give it the ability to perform many of the tasks larger pickups do. My only drawback is the gas mileage does not come close to the Ford Maverick's hybrid.
