The Best Car I Have Ever Owned
The IONIQ 6 is an exceptional car and the best vehicle I have ever owned. The design is elegant, distinctive, and genuinely looks like a concept car, while the interior is quiet, comfortable, and far roomier than the exterior suggests. Rear-seat passengers have been surprised by the amount of legroom, even with the front seats pushed back.
The AWD powertrain is smooth, remarkably quick, and effortless on the highway, yet the car remains calm and composed. The ride is comfortable, the technology is thoughtfully integrated, and features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, regenerative braking, navigation-based battery preconditioning, and over-the-air updates make it feel truly modern.
It is also incredibly inexpensive to operate. With home Level 2 charging and time-based electricity pricing, I can often add a substantial amount of range for less than one dollar. The combination of performance, efficiency, comfort, practicality, and distinctive design is difficult to match.
Most importantly, I still look forward to driving it every time I get behind the wheel. Hyundai created something genuinely special with the IONIQ 6, and I hope the company continues offering and developing it in the United States.
