Great Value, Fun to Drive

I bought this EV for my spouse last year, and we've been enjoying it ever since then! The power of the motor, the comfort of the seats, and the safety systems make this the perfect vehicle for a family or just one person. I would definitely buy it again if I had the opportunity, but the 10 year warranty will likely outlast the car.

1 year and 1 month in, great car.

Overall ive had zero issues with this car and it has traveled well. Weekly trips to work, 1500 mile+ trips to Los Angeles and Las vegas and Arizona. The ioniq 6 has never failed me. Very comfortable for this price point and a dream to drive with all the driver assists. Fast charging, and great range.

Cheap to operate and fun to drive

I've owned my Ioniq 6 limited for over a year and driven it for 6500 miles with no problems. My only costs have been charging the battery up to 80% about once a week for less than $10 and replacing the cabin air filter which I easily did myself. A good filter set me back about $50. Driving the Ioniq 6 is a dream. It is easily the quietest car I have ever driven and is among the best handling (and that includes several Porches and an Audi). This is my first EV and It took a couple of 10-15 minute drives to get used to the various controls, including the center mounted window controls. Now I and my wife like the center mounted window controls because it allows the passenger to control all the windows if the driver is busy driving. My only complaint is the appearance of the double spoilers. It just looks a little over the top to me.

Very good

All systems are functioning well. Only issue is how complex those functions are. I can't spend enough time to master all. Manual overwhelms.

LOVE my IONIQ 6

I have always had a SUV or larger car. I was hesitant to get the car for size and going fully electric. From the first week , I loved it! It is comfortable, runs beautifully and so fun to drive. I have not had any issues running out of battery. I do not want to give it back after my lease !

I had same problem twice with i6. Car would go DEAD. Had to reatta.

i6 It's ok...learning curve with ev's Would suggest installing a red light on rear window when you take foot off accelerator...so car behind knows you're slowing down (no braking so no brake lights!)

Don't buy!

I deeply regret buying a Hyundai and strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I've had way too many quality control issues with my vehicle: first the brakes, then the steering, and now a persistent clicking noise that requires body panels to be removed to fix. Beyond the unreliable car, the dealership experiences have been an absolute nightmare. John, the finance manager at Mountain Hyundai, was terrible to deal with. Stevinson Hyundai of Frederick was just as bad—they kept my car on their lot for a full seven days without a single update. I called seven times, and they never even picked up the phone. Between the terrible vehicle quality and the atrocious customer service, I am incredibly frustrated. I hope this company goes out of business.

Great car, nice sleek look, roomy backseat

After driving for a year, I love my car and many things about it. The large dashboard screen is very easy to see, and the series of traditional buttons below the digital display allow a driver to select features like climate, radio & navigation either way, plus through the voice command button on the steering wheel. The safety features including back up camera , collision warning alerts, key in car or car left on when exiting make me feel safe. The back seat is a bonus, plush and roomy as is the trunk. I also love the auto light setting, and the "Sounds of Nature" audio setting for when I am in a stressful driving situation. The few flaws are: the heating system does not seem to kick in unless you set it to ridiculously high temps like 80 degrees plus. I still haven't figured out how to turn on the seat warmers. The air vents are narrow are also weirdly placed for the driver, either in your face or on your lap. It should be a quiet ride but something is not quite airtight about the door/window construction--at highway speeds you can hear the rush of air, mostly outside the passenger door.
