A very good EV, missing a couple of important features.

Overall a very good feature set that seems competitive with similarly priced cars. I almost didn't buy this car specifically because of the lack of wireless android auto. I still have hopes that this will come through in an OTA update.

WORST Santa Clara, CA Stevens Creek Hyundai

Never ended up getting the vehicle, because even after my mistake in delving into trade-in later into the night, caused them to feel all sorts of entitled to dump all of their anger onto me without holding back. I went promptly the next afternoon right after work, and especially Mo Ibrahimi is the only one at fault of the whole interaction. Lowballing trade in so much, below all the trade in offers that where hundreds or thousands higher with the same conditions. Pleaded that if to please get a second opinion with a supervisor or anyone, and I was ridiculed by Mo with so much firmness witholding all empathy for the sake of taking advantage. Mind you that I already did credit application, approved, and finishing everything.

Love it, but it’s behind on infotainment tech

Overall, great car. It’s fun to drive, has an appealing look, is comfortable, and feels like it can last a long time (well built). It does not perform well in wet conditions. Not sure if it’s the tires it came with, I’ll find out after replacing them once the initial set run out. The native infotainment software is unusable; laggy and not user friendly. I end up using CarPlay rely on ABRP for planning charge stops. In 2025, I feel like the native infotainment software should perform as well as CarPlay or Android Auto and rival Tesla’s proprietary software. Lastly, don’t really love having to lug around multiple adapters. Would have preferred the car come with a native NACS port instead of the CCS, as that’s been set as the standard moving forward.

Great car with some small aggravations.

Efficincy, charging, and range are outstanding. Styling, ride, and interior comfort also 5 stars. Cons are the on off setup and related door locking system. A dog mode or one hour run time would be great. Navigation seems slow, or maybe it's just me. I think the radio options are more than adequate and work as well as most people need them to be. Overall great car, a little overpriced for reasons i have mentioned, but has real value. Resale in two years still a big question mark.

Like the car, dislike the Hyundai experience and software

Leased this car to see which EV was a right fit for our lifestyle. We love driving EVs and plan to purchase one at the end of our lease. We are not sure which company we want to go with. Although we love the look and feel of the Ioniq 6, we have had some poor experiences with customer service and the software.

Not good

The dealer didn’t give me enrollment code. So it’s so hard for me. Charge it every time and I have to pay a lot. I called a few times, but nobody answered me.

I gave them a zero because they don’t follow through on anything.

I like my car pretty much, but the dealership has not followed through on getting my permanent license plates. When I call, they are full of excuses. I bought my car two months ago and I still don’t have permanent plates. I regret coming to Baytown Hyundai to purchase a car.

Great EV overall.

Overall I love my Ionic 6! I love the driver position, the driver experience with the dashboard, etc. I get great mileage range from it. I have a home charger, by the way. The only negative was the original tires. One was defective and had to be replaced. I still thought the tires ran rough. After four months, I decided to buy better tires. I got the Michelin CrossClimate 2's. The ride is noticeably nicer. It is smoother and grippier.

Nice car. But uncomfortable front seats.

Seats are too narrow. Side bolsters cut into leg. I am forced to use seat cushion to lift thighs above sides. I am 6', 205 lbs. Wife is 5'2". She uses bolster in passenger seat because it is uncomfortable for her.

Great EV

I love my Ioniq 6. Not my 1st EV as I had a Mach E but this one has AWD and extended battery as well as much smoother ride. Not quite as fast but I don’t beat on it in sport mode at all. I wish the SEL came with front camera but I’ll live. Mileage at 80% shows at high 200’s and I have no reason to question it. I will say the stereo blows and can use a sound quality upgrade. Also satellite radio reception goes out a lot in tree lined road more than other. But, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

beautiful electric car

I have not had this car very long so I cannot speak to anything about maintenance or mechanical. But I am enjoying it so far. Fully electric is great. Still trying to learn all the functions but I am very happy with my purchase.

Cool, but...

This is a really cool vehicle. Everywhere we drive, loads of compliments. I never expected that. Most people want to know what kind of car it is and ask about the specs , etc. So that makes me feel good about the purchase. However, this car does have it's downsides. The battery goes down too quickly. It's highly annoying to have to go to a charge point for 3-4 hours 2-3 times a week. Then there's the quicker chargers that have outrageous prices. It would help a lot if my local Hyundai had an ev station. It's utterly ridiculous that they don't. There aren't that many charging stations and even less that are actually functioning. All of which makes this vehicle feel a little burdensome. Outside of that, the car is gorgeous and super fast. The seats are very comfortable and the rear seating area is very spacious.
