Greatest Smart Car

This is definitely an amazing car. I really enjoy driving it. I love the sleek look on the outside and the great benefits on the inside. I love the comfort of the seats, the smart features, the speed of the charge. Overall, a great vehicle.

My favorite car ever, and I’ve owned quite a few

This is my first EV. I charge in the garage, at stations on longer trips. I have had no problems even on multi-state road trips. It’s quiet, all the options I want are there, and I love it. A full “tank” costs me about $12, so eventually I’ll make up the cost difference. Ha ha.

Good but could be great with a few changes

Overall, I like the car but don't love it. The range could be better. I don't like the 20" wheels as they impact ride quality and transmit road nose, and reduce the range. And the range could be better--my next EV needs a stated range of at least 350 miles and a real range of 275 miles because charging stations are few and far between in the desert southwest where we like to vacation. The seats could also be more comfortable and the stereo sounds tinny. Some of the controls require taking eyes off the road. On the plus side, the acceleration is great and handling is very good. The car charges quickly when a DCFC can support that. The overall interior quality is good with several friends telling me it's much nicer than their Tesla.

average car hefty price tag

overall performance is great in the car but some features are lacking or missing altogether. 50k car and no wireless apple car play, sensors go off all the time even when stopped. heated seats but no cooling seats . no heated steering wheel.

EV is the way to go!

This has been my first EV and I'm really enjoying making the switch away from ICE. The fast charging is great for the occasional road trip, but most of our driving is around town / regional. The available range makes it very rare that we need to charge away from home.

The physical components of this car are great. Meaning the battery, motors, and layout (roomy back seat), etc are great. But the overall user experience is absolute garbage. I will never own another Hyundai until they finally get into the 21st century with their software. Luckily for Hyundai this could all be fixed with over-the-air updates; IF they actually had the skill and desire to improve their software and interface. There are just a ton of small things that make this car very frustrating to own. Having to "turn the car on" or "off" for example; there is no need to do this. It's electric, the car is always "on". If I open the door or sit in the driver's seat that should automatically turn on any systems needed to prepare for a drive. The doors can't automatically lock when you exit, instead the door handle stay propped outward for anybody to see that the car is unlocked, or to snag grocery bags as you pass in the garage. You have to agree and acknowledge so many things just to do one simple voice command; if I ask to navigate to the post office I don't want the car to ask if I'm sure I want to navigate to the post office, just do it. If I didn't sign a multi-year lease I would be returning this car and never stepping on the Hyundai lot again.

Best car ever

I'm not a car person but I lurve this car. The pedal car mode, safety features, and smart cruise control take all the stress out of driving, especially in slow highway traffic during rush hour. Plus it's very stylish and gets lots of compliments.

An excellent car that needs a few minor improvements.

My Ioniq 6 is a handsome car and an excellent ride. I have only a few minor issues. It is difficult to read the push buttons on the dash console, e.g. media, map, etc. They are poorly lighted and do not stand out. Making them black on grey would be better or more brightly lit would be a good alternative. The ride is very smooth. Only the Lucid was superior. The foot room is excellent front and back. Climate control works well. The auto bright headlights are a charm. The auto windshield wipers work well too.

Fun car!

Only concern was the radiator having to be replaced shortly after we leased the vehicle. We were without the car for 37 days.

Hyundai Quality is Superior to Rivals!

As in all electric cars, the driving/handling experience is so very exciting due to the torque. But this Hyundai has tech that outperforms typical rivals - such as Bluetooth connectivity, applications such as entertainment and the safety features are all superior.

our experiance with our Ioniq 6

fun to drive, but problems with the driver interface. Slow to boot upon start, sometimes over a minute. It's a cumbersome interface. Dash display is not very customizable. No customizable default infotainment setting/screen layout. Also the sensors on the front of the car are over active. When sitting still at a traffic light, the sensors go off randomly with a car in front and on the sides, all vehicles are stationary and at a reasonable distance from the Ioniq 6. it is super annoying.
