Great features, fun to drive, good range and decent cargo space.

I really enjoy driving my Ioniq5 Limited every time I have to go somewhere. It is comfortable and fun with a big carplay display and ventilated seats are awesome in the Summer. No complaints at all.

Very happy with the car so far.

We've had the car for three months and so far we love it. Acceleration is amazing, we can drive it around town for about a week before we have to charge it again.

Brand new, stopped working after 300 miles

The vehicle drives nicely but failed, brand new, after 300 miles. Hyundai has been unable to fix for nearly 60 days.

Has good useful features but, very noisy car. Need to address car noise! The car opens if you are passing by with the app on your phone. Proximity needs to be adjusted for automatic door unlock. Sound system needs to be upgraded.

a great EV for the price

This is a great car, it really checks all the boxes if you want an affordable EV with the best range and comfort possible. Things I love - the self-driving features are very very good. The range and size are perfect, it's big enough but I wouldn't want it any bigger. There are a few small things I'd change - I don't like the fact that the door handles stay out when the car is unlocked, it feels like announcing to the world that my car is unlocked. I wish the center console went all the way up, there is a space that things (such as my dog or rolling water bottles) can get through from the passenger to the driver's side footwell.

Great car!

I love the Ioniq-5--this is the second one I purchased. I have a long commute for work, so an electric car is perfect for me. I love the features that I got on the 2025 model; my personal favorite right now is the heated steering wheel. And I also love the wiper on the back window. I also love how the side mirror tuck in when I lock the car.

Too many problems

While I love the vehicle when it's working properly, it has been at least partially broken for the majority of the time I've had it.

I have found that the 2025 has operational improvements over the 2023… so far. A charge seems to last longer, car runs well. The console is a little challenging with changes

Got a dud.

The first time I plugged it in, in only drew less than half the power it should have. The car said a full charge would take almost a week. I drive exactly 1 hour / 30 miles a day on weekdays, and I charge every single second I am not driving. Each weekday I lose more battery driving 1 hour than I gain charging for 23, so I need the weekends to catch up. Finally the car stopped charging all together. Took it into the shop, got it "fixed", so at least it charges again, but still at a snail's pace. Taking it in again to see if it can be improved but my hopes aren't high.

Love the car

Our Hyundai IONIC 5 SEL AWD has exceeded my expectations. We bought this for my wife to replace her Honda CRV Touring, and she loves her new car. The styling and design is very cool and unique; it stands out from all other cars, including other Hyundai models. The car is much more spacious than it looks from the outside, like a Harry Potter car. It is like magic when you go inside and it feels so spacious. The extended doors make getting in and out very comfortable. The car is very quiet, even compared to other EVs (our other car is a Tesla Model 3 which has more road and wind noise)! The ride is very comfortable. Great for long trips. Love all the smart and safety features.

Great ride but details, lacking

Overall, the pickup of the electric engine is excellent. The interior design of the seats and rear compartment are spacious and comfortable. The right screen is difficult to operate. For example, if I want media and to map at the same time, I have to do a substantial amount of clicking. This creates distraction, which can be dangerous on the road. The temperature controls are dim and hard to see. The cruise control is inconsistent. Sometimes it takes two clicks other times it takes one.
