Fun & Efficient

The Elantra Hybrid is fun to drive with good performance and handling. The construction seems solid and the finishes are nice. The interior design has a few features I find less than useful, as do the navigation and driver assist features. The only concerning issue I've discovered so far is a small but noticeable uncommanded surge of power when inching forward into a parking space. If you're not ready for it you could bump into whatever is in front of you.

Good performance but needs improvements

No useable cup holders on doors. Back window visibility should be improved. Seat material is difficult to slide in/out of. Car should be 12” shorter - difficult to fit in garage. What is that circle on left side of dashboard? Trunk open button should fully raise trunk lid. Parallel self parking option would be welcomed.

Do not buy if you want a peace of mind

The car has nothing to offer. Neither it has a quality not it has the service support. You will only regret if you buy it. in my case i bout the vehicle and after 400 miles the front tyre has side wall damage. It makes rattling interior sounds, the fuel economy is not consistent and do not believe the average fuel economy it shows on dashboard. The situation with brakes is a night mare, the vehicle has a damage on hood while delivering (this is my mistake i havent checked properly). while applying brakes you can hear that the gears are fighting with one another. SO with all these problems i have to bear this vehicle because i bought it by spending some money. If you are someone who is reading this review, my suggestion would be "go choose some other car".

Just right

This car felt "just right" for me when I test drove it. So far, in the three months since I got it, it remains that. I am still getting used to and learning all the features. My only complaint at this point is that the trunk is too fast to open up when I walk past it with the key fob in my pocket.

Passenger tire is terrible

Your guy’s passenger wheel has given me a flat twice and I’ve only had the new car for 4 months and needed a new tire each time. My old Toyota from 2007 never needed a flat replacement in the 4 years I had it. I absolutely would take back the purchase if I could and will never buy from Hyundai again because of the tires. The only reason it’s not a one star is because the car looks nice

Rodent's love Hyundai

With only 400 miles the car overheated, it was found that a rodent had basically chewed up the car's wiring and even loved the radiator hoses.

Amazing fuel efficiency, fun drive

When your biggest complaint with a car is the cupholders, that's a good sign. My wife and I bought a 2013 Elantra used from a fleet, and absolutely loved the car. For a number of reasons, we decided that we needed to get a second vehicle, and after looking at a lot of options, decided to put off the choice of a new vehicle in favor of "upgrading" one we already had. We got a 2025 Elantra Hybrid Blue at a dealership near us for around $25k, and we're about 3k miles in so far. Compared to the 2013 model, the car is significantly upgraded, both in sensor packages, climate control, and just general QoL features. The biggest win, however, has been the car's fuel efficiency. We've actually been able to actually realize about a 54 mpg average with the car so far, in actual driving conditions including cold weather and mountain driving. This hasn't really come at a detriment either, as at times when we've needed power, foot-to-floor will make this thing MOVE. My biggest complaints are in a way telling of the vehicle's qualities. The car is so quiet that noise from the window gap is audible and sometimes distracting. The front cupholders are awkwardly sized in terms of height, and I've had to dig out smaller drinks while being unable to fit others in. The rear cupholders in the back seats are missing entirely on this model, as is the option to partially fold down the seats. Again, these are odd little things to complain about, but it's all I really can. Car is great, love it.
