The Perfect Commuter Vehicle

I am a serious commuter. 80+ miles each day, When looking to replace my Honda Civic EX Coupe (with almost 400,000 miles), I knew I needed three things: 50+ mpg, all the safety tech I could get, and good looks, but not just like everything else. This car got exactly the mpg it advertised, 50 mpg overall right away. The tech? Awesome driver assist, adaptive cruise control, on demand Sport shifter, emergency automatic braking- it already saved me from trouble several times. I like the looks, especially the Limited- the Bose, the 17" wheels, black chrome grille, the leather, remote start, it punches above it's weight. Prius mileage without the nasty look! Get one!

Wonderful Car!

My 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited is a wonderful car. I consistently get better MPG than the EPA ratings. The quality of the materials is top notch. I love the way it handles and drives. The ride quality is excellent! The seats are very comfortable. Overall, I love my Elantra. I have owned everything from Mercedes and BMW to Cadillac and Volvo and multiple other brands. My Elantra ranks up there with the best of them!

Love this car!!

For the money this car has the best warranty, style and dependability In addition it gets around 50 miles per gallon. I could not be happier and laugh at the people spending tons of money on Tesla's and waiting for electric charges at the gas stations.

The car is really Hyundai is one of the few manufacturers that continues to commit resources to sedans, and that decision is paying off. The 2023 Hyundai Elantra is one of the best compact sedans you can buy right now. Aside from its bold exterior, one attribute stood out in my week with an Elantra Limited: comfort. Despite the car feeling light and nimble, it also had excellent ride quality that felt settled and cosseting. It’s a great match for the Elantra’s naturally aspirated four-cylinder, which provides useful and predictable power for everyday driving and freeway trips. There wasn’t a moment it ever felt underpowered, though the engine does get loud in a vacuum cleaner type of way during hard acceleration. Handling isn’t as sharp as a Honda Civic or Mazda3, but it’s still better than most classmates. The Elantra has few outright faults, but rear visibility is tough at times, and the cabin, though attractively designed, has plenty of noticeable hard plastics.

Eh, okay.

Started out great but gas mileage and EV mode use is decreasing significantly. I get about 10 mpg less these days and EV mode is only activated sporadically. I don’t have anything else to say but I have to use at least 200 characters.

A great commuter. Great mikeage

I drive 110 miles daily commuting. That is the reason I took the chance on a hybrid. So far at 22k, it's treating me good. I like the defrost is warm instantly. Must be electric. Could use a heated steering wheel.

Everything in the car is good. Interior and the trunk space is very good. Car acceleration is not very great. Wireless carplay should have been there. Leather seats will little more price would have been great instead of goung for premium one.

overall a good car good mileage and features. It needs some help in handling, road noise, integrated features, recall and comfort. I would rate it in the top 4 for hybrid sedans but it has room to grow.

Great experience overall

I found this vehicle was everything promised from my research

Great mileage. Ease of operation. Hard to get out of if driver has long legs so that's perfect for me since it limits who wants to borrow it. The navigation map is easy to use, accurate and, best of all, keeps track of my favorite destinations.

Doesn't deliver on MPG

MPG is much less then advertised. Getting low 40s when it should be mid 50s. Doors are longer then need be making tight fits difficult. Worst cruise control i've had on a vehicle, constantly accelerates and brakes. Vehicle is nice but when purchasing a hybrid your main selling point is MPG.

Hybrid Greatness

Have leased/owned 12 Hyundais and 1 Genesis over the year. 4 of these are vehicles we helped our Grandchildren obtain because we wanted them to have a good dependable vehicle. You can not beat the quality and reliability of this vehicle we now have our second Hybrid. My husband loves watching our mpg useage. It's money in our pocket.
