As always

Norm is great. Got the car in. A wonderful, and unexpected benefit, was that I dropped the car off and a driver took me to where I needed to go. When Norm called and said my car was ready, a driver picked me up and took me to the service center. Extremely convenient. And, in my case, necessary. I needed to get some things done elsewhere.

Great service

After purchasing my new car from Earnhardt Hyundai, I decided to keep making the 20-minute drive for regular service rather than continue using a local shop. They know my car inside and out and, of my three services so far, I've yet to leave feeling like I was "being taken for a ride." That experience and peace of mind is worth the extra travel.

Courteous knowledgeable employees

Norm Rosen is aa asset. He takes the time to discuss with you the reason for bringing car in and then explains ways to fix the problem. The servic technician, Zach Towne, took the time to drive around parking lot to explain what could be making the “squeaks”. Overall I was very satisfied with everyone.

Fuel pump issue?

Had to continually pump the gas pedal to start and keep the car running one afternoon. Seemed like a fuel pump problem. Took it in for that problem and 105k maintenance service. The service associate kept us posted on the progress and what they found. Replaced the fuel pump and completed the maintenance on time as scheduled. Good job!

Wheel balance or alignment?

I love my Genesis and baby it. After taking it in for 15000 mile service it wasn't feeling like a luxury car...meandering all over the road. It was fine when I brought it in for service. The only thing they did to cause a change was rotating and balancing tires so I brought it back hoping they would check the balance. Instead I was taken on a long test drive (the technician was great...a very polite young man who clearly loved his job) and afterward was told the alignment was off. The car immediately felt like my luxury car again but I question why it was suddenly out of alignment when I hadn't hit anything and had driven only about 150 miles, most of which was the trip back and forth to the dealer.

We're glad you enjoyed your time with Zach, he is a great tech and we are very fortunate to have him on our team. It is curious that only after we did the rotate and balance that the meandering presented itself. With the exception of considerable tire pull, there really shouldn't be anything in the rotate or balance that would introduce a pull. Reviewing the specs measured before and after the alignment, it clearly was out but still doesn't explain well how within 2 weeks of service you started feeling the pull.

Mysteries abound.

Still, we're glad we were able to sort it out for you and that your Genesis once again feels like the luxury car it always has been for you. We are very happy to be your Genesis dealer and we look forward to serving you for all the years and miles ahead.
