Flat tire

After finding out my flat was unrepairable they fixed me up with a full set of new tires that will work well in snow. Timely as it snowed that next day.

The oil change and tire rotation was done in about 45 min. I was impressed.

One unfortunate comment: I was NOT told when I made the appt. that I needed to bring in the blue tag to get the complimentary oil change etc.

It is spring time again

It is spring time again
So I had my tires put back on for the warm months of the year.

-yeah it was extremely exciting
?

If you’re looking for hand sanitizer they have it in the service department.
One of the guys who works there has the sniffles.

There was Hot cider in the lounge.

I learned something ...
Creamer does not dissolve
In hot cider , it does curdle
However .

Which is weird because both cider and coffee are made with water.

I took my SUV in to switch from snow tires to summer tires. The technician tested the battery and found it in the failing zone. So I had them replace the battery while I was there. Glad not to have been stranded somewhere with a dead battery. The service writer told me when I arrived he would give me a coupon for Hippo's Car Wash. When I checked out, I signed everything and paid the bill. It wasn't until I got home that I realized he did not give me the Hippo's Car Wash coupon. Oh well.

Always an extra problem when I take it in for oil change.

Cole Patterson came out after oil change and tire rotation and said I had a right front inner axle seal leak. I said that can't be true, I had it fixed a while back. He checked and said that I was correct and had it replaced 12/19/19. He said it was under warranty and he would call once it was replaced again. When I went to pick up my Explorer he said the mechanic said to just catch it next time... I was HOT. What do you mean "catch it next time". I left Cole's area after signing paperwork and paying bill and went to talk to Joe! I have known Joe for 12 plus years and told him how frustrated I was. He graciously set me up with an appointment next Monday to have the axel seal replaced. I love Joe and hate that he isn't out on the service desk. I only trust him!! I have had my 1996 Ford Explorer, 2007 Ford Explorer and now my new 2020 Ford Edge all taken care of at the Ford dealer. My mom had her 2000 Taurus Wagon and my son had his 2010 Ford F150 all worked on at your dealership (once owned by Tom Addis as well). I have lost some confidence with you. All but Joe! He has always taken care of me and I trust him.

Ok but...

I was ok with the work done until i received the esrimate for recommended next service... over $600. Crazy. Over $250 to change spark-plugs. Not even a V8. STUPID.
And the guy explaining it was a monotone robot. No sensitivity. This is not a Masareti.
