They are professional and give clear explanations for recommendations of things that need to be done for my ageing car, and it is so nice to have a car shop that I fully trust! Recently I went to one of the "jiffy" oil-change places and found they also do mechanical work (altho
ugh I saw no ASE accreditations in plain view from the service bay) and after being charged an overpriced oil change, whereas they didn't even top off the "blinker fluid" (LOL) They also informed me that me brake pads were at 2mmm thickness. I also asked them to check the rears, they immediately said "yes they're bad too". I got a printout of an $1085 for all 4 pads/rotors and a handwritten note of $585 for pads only.
So when I went to my good friends at Summit Automotive, they did the brake inspection and recommended new pads/rotors on the front only as the rear were still within tolerance. I saved more than 50% at Summit Automotive and was treated professionally by professionals. Shout-Out to Carl, the man organizing all the chaos, he's awesome. Since the pandemic (when parts were scarce and mechanics were overcharging, I've been a loyal customer of Summit Automotive. Thanks to All Y'all !!! Jonnnyb in sunny San Deee(yaygo).

WOW! We are on vacation in San Diego and someone scratched our rental car pretty bad. Brought it to B
rendan at Fix Auto Mission Valley for an estimate to repair so rental company didn’t ding us. Not only did they buff it out, they filled in the scratches with matching paint AND DIDN’T CHARGE ME!!!!! Unbelievably gracious, kind, helpful. Thank you for salvaging the remainder of our vacation Brendan. I highly recommend the service here. Excellent customer service!
