I called German Auto Center after getting a quote from the dealer and they quoted me less than half. They had my car ready the next day and allowed me to pick it up after hours. They made everything so easy and painless. I will be taking my car back for all my repair and service needs of my BMW.

Excellent service!

3rd time back to German Auto
Bert tried to keep the cost down, and the accessory belt was squeaking after a new belt install. He had 2 pulley's replaced, after one day the squeaking started again. I called he said they shimmed it and did not have to replace the 3 rd Pulley. I left a and a few days later the squeaking returned. Today bringing the car back, I will be asking for the shim.
I have experienced uber cost of $75.00 to and from the shop.
I live in lemon grove and work at Naval Base Point Loma, so the shop is convient when i am working.
I was off work for several weeks and had to use uber to get home and leave the car.
I love my 2008 VW R32, but it's ALWAYS been very slow-cranking...and I've had it for 5 years. (Recently, I even had to get a jump-start.) Several times, I'd asked the VW dealership to check into this, and the dealership could never find the cause. I'd had the dealership change the hi-amp fuses and the battery, but for various reasons I quit going to the VW service center two years ago. I was trying to fix this issue when I asked German Auto Center to put a new alternator on the car. But Bert offered to diagnose what the dealership could not...and he identified the problem that same day. It was a just faulty battery cable, and he saved me a lot of money by simply changing the cable. If I had installed a new alternator, I'd still have the problem...and I'd be out a lot of money. Now, the car starts up better than it EVER has--and it sounds just like a new car. I'm really glad I listened to Bert!
I had an unfortunate electrical/power failure with my Audi. German Auto Center was able to quickly squeeze me in on their busy schedule, diagnose my issue and fix it in less than 24-hours. The speedy service saved me very valuable time and eliminated a lot of uncertainty. No surprises. Thanks for genuine care and service with no sales-job at the time of diagnosis.

Was charged $90 labor to tell me battery was ok but there fault codes needed to be checked the next day
Next day charged $180 labor to tell me battery needed to be replaced and fault codes reset
Charged me $90 labor to replace battery plus $256 for battery
