Great Vehicle

I love my vehicle. Only thing I wish was different is the panel that shows the AC, Heated Seats, Cooling Seats etc. is hard to read when there is a glare from the sun. The "blue lights" are hard to see.

2025 Hyundai Tuvson

A few weeks ago I would have given this vehicle a five star rating, right now I am not sure that it deserves four. I have spent time on the phone with two different Hyundai Care advisors and taken two trips to my dealer. Today's visit was almost eight hours long. All involved were professional, caring people. I am not going into the details but it I evolved the technology, taking strong stops going forward and backwards and without cause. Hopefully, they have it fixed. My opinion will change if the vehicle stops stopping itself.

Well equipped

Really enjoying this vehicle, we equipped and many perks included. Two items that I found need to be reevaluated one the rear hatch button is located on the lower left side which prevents the passenger to access to it our previous Santa Fe had it located on the overhead controls which was convenient. Also the Blue Link which allows your phone to start / stop the car along with many other features one draw back is the system allows for the door to be locked from outside even if the phone is still inside the car, this causes the owner to be locked out of the car which happened to me

Warranty maintenance

Brought 2025 Tucson on 9/3/26. Found electrical issue. Today is 9/29/26and I still don’t have my vehicle. Amazed that no technician corp or dealer know how to resolve the problem. I’m considering enacting the Texas lemon law. Ridiculous.

Great SUV, lacking in a few areas.

We chose the matte color and finish on our Tucson and we love the color, but the maintenance and the easy of washing this color choice is not easy and requires special products. We even ppf’d the SUV and it still is difficult to take care of. We wish we would’ve chosen a different color all and all. The steering wheel started fading in color within 3 months of owning, it only took them almost a year to replace it with a new one. The SUV fits 5 adults but not the luggage of 5 adults, not even 4 adults. That’s 2 bags each. Maybe make it a little longer or come standard with a secure popup storage area on the top of the vehicle for extra space.

It was a Great Car until it Wasn't

I was very happy with my purchase until October 23, 2025. On that morning, I pulled into a parking space that faced a cement retaining wall. My foot was on the brake, and I was reaching to put the car into Park, when the car suddenly lurched itself forward into the cement retaining wall. There was no Collision Avoidance activated (a safety feature I had thought was good to have on a car). $22,000 in damage later, my insurance company totaled the car. I had had the car 8 months; it had 6374 miles on it. I did report this incident directly to Hyundai Motors. There was a case manager assigned. Two weeks after my report, they decided they wanted to inspect the vehicle. Unfortunately, I had had to sign the car over to the insurance company in order to get the insurance payout to get a different vehicle. (This was my only vehicle.) I then received a letter telling me it was my fault they couldn't inspect the vehicle and they were closing the claim. I replied and told them I thought this was fairly disingenuous. If they had acted more quickly, I would have tried to hold off on signing the title, so the car could be inspected. Lesson learned - big companies really don't care all that much. In the months since, I have heard of other issues with these cars lurching unexpectedly. I tried to do the right thing.
