Love the car except for the camera on the steering column.

Bought the 2025 Limited model for my mother because she loved her previous Tucson and have to say it was a great value overall. The only reason I didn’t buy one for myself (or the Genesis line FTM) is because I drive mainly highway miles using cruise control and the camera on the steering column is too sensitive making the cruise control option turn itself off repeatedly because it can’t see my face when holding the steering with one hand in the 12 o’clock position……and how I normally drive on daily hour long rides. If they can perfect this flaw I might be in the market again for my next vehicle in a couple years but, for now, I have to put those brands on a shelf.

Great road trip vehicle and super on gas mileage and comfort!

We are quite happy with the Tucson. We do miss the sun shade extenders that we had in the Santa Fe and I miss the rear window wiper. The Tucson is roomier, more comfortable, and much better on gas mileage. The car has lots of safety features and can almost drive itself. It gives me coffee break hints when I am not keeping the car in my lane =- ha! Nicely done, that. It doesn't always seem to want to stop when it is driving so I am definitely making sure to brake in time. The brakes work incredibly well as I had to have a short stop last week to avoid running into a vehicle in front of me because the lane gave out without any warning or signage on the road. It came to a standstill! Overall, we enjoy the vehicle and are happy with it. Would have been nice to have the built-in GPS at the base level but we are managing with our own plug in version.

I have owned numerous Hyundai’s in my life but this is the first one I owned that had to go back to the dealer four times within 3 months for issues with it.

I have not liked certain features on my Tucson. The CRUISE CONTROL doesn't operate normally because of the infra red on the steering column. Why wasn't this mentioned when I bought it??? Because you know I would NOT have purchased this car. I can't even change my arms without it shutting down. Safe but not happy with this and I always mention it to others. Also I cant open my trunk from the back even though my fob is in purse...can't dig for fog when arms are full of groceries etc. I do like the handling and that is what sold me, but I am already thinking about selling it and taking a BIG LOSS because I have always used cruise control and my arms are always full. Also the limiting factor almost cause an accident in the middle of a busy intersection. I inadvertently hit a button to cause this and narrowly escaped because the other driver moved faster. Too many buttons in the way of hands and you end up nearly stopped. I loved my previous Kia and should have bought it after the lease instead of getting a new car. I only had 20K+ miles on it.

Good SUV but has bugs

Handles well but poor pickup, heating and cooling slower than my previous Sonatas. Electronics too complicated. Must take eyes off road to adjust system do not use many of the features.

A very comfortable ride with all the necessary features.

Overall, a well designed, well built, and dependable car. The dashboard screen is terrific. There are some creature comforts that I wish my model had.
