Tucson review

I don't like the forward Safety option. When I go to make a sudden stop my car jerks bad and feels like breaks lock up. Almost got into accident on highway. I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. When it is in I feel like I don't have complete control of the car.

Overall the car is excellent the service on the other hand

The vehicle has a lot of features none of which were reviewed with me when I purchased it. There’s a warning light on. I only have like 2300 miles on it. There’s a warning light on the dash and when I called in, no one can tell me what it is I actually have to come in The vehicle has a lot of pick up so when it’s the stop and go which I would like to figure out how to turn that off then when accelerating it takes off very quickly.

Drives great. Comfortable ride. excellent safety features. consistently gets 2 miles less per gallon than indicated. I have had some difficulty understanding and using all available features.

2025 Tucson review

This is at least our seventh Hyundai and we are somewhat disappointed. The infotainment system is pitiful. Way too complex…Serius XM radio is a big deal for us and the content is so small on the screen you can hardly see it. Sounds good but we can’t see the music info.

The Tucson is a nice car, but it is underpowered with the bass engine and the suspension is wildly, especially over bumps and pavement

It's not fun to drive. The engine is loud. I've almost been rear-ended numerous times because the setting on the front crash detector is too sensitive and it literally slams on your brakes. This occurs often when someone is making a right hand turn, so they're still moving forward as you're getting closer. The system completely takes over your car. It's frightening. I wish I could turn the whole thing off, but you can only do that if you turn it off every time you start the car. The less sensitive setting is better, but if people don't do their own research about how to fix this problem, it's an accident waiting to happen. I also hate the fact that the engine stops when the car is stopped. This is my first car with this feature and the car is slow to turn back on again. It feels like it's slower than the time it takes my foot to go from the brake to the gas, which is another unsettling feature of this car. Again, it's fixable by pressing a button, but you must do so every time you start the car. I understand the car companies get an incentive to have this feature, but on this vehicle, it sucks.

Great little SUV!

This is my second Hyundai Tucson. This is a great little car for older drivers who no longer have kids at home. The gas mileage is excellent and it has wonderful features. We wound up buying the top of the line model simply because it was on the lot and we really enjoyed the test drive. I have found everything is terrific with the exception of the Hyundai screen. Our 2022 Hyundai had a different set up and the screen was much easier to read. Other than that, we really enjoy the vehicle. We have not had any problems with it.

Acceleration was so slow that I nearly got hit while trying to exit. Then, when I attempted to change lanes, even with my indicator on and the car behind me still far back, my car hesitated mid‑maneuver. Instead of completing the lane change, it suddenly braked, forcing the driver behind me to brake hard as well.
