Will be happy when the lease is OVER!!!

I turned in my Santa Fe lease for a Tucson. BIG MISTAKE! After a horrible purchasing experience at the dealer, this car is a huge disappointment. It has a "convenience package", but screams basic and cheap! There is no storage for anything! It is very cramped for any long distance ride. The "censor" turning off my cruise control because it can't see "my face" is ridiculous!!! Had I known about it, it would still be sitting on the lot. The engine screams like it's a race car when you hit the gas. The doors don't unlock when you put it in park! WHAT? Why wouldn't the door unlock? I have to physically hit the unlock button to let people out of the backseat. The app hasn't been able to start my car for TWO months. Updates are needed on the car's software. We have tried multiple times to do them and they never finish or say they are complete and five minutes later it says they are required again. Brought it in for an oil change and a recall and I guess they couldn't figure it out either because it still says the update is required. Sometimes the button for tailgate responds and sometimes it doesn't. Holding the button on the remote until it closes completely is tedious and needs to be fixed. I should be able to hit the button and it closes, but if you let go, it stops where it is until you hold the button again. It constantly beeps randomly for no reason, long beeps when you open the door and random beeps other times. The cameras consistently don't work and the driver warnings before you might hit something are awful. Brought me to a dead stop at 50mph multiple times now because "it" thought I was going to hit a car when I was nowhere near it. On a very windy day my car suddenly took control of my steering wheel, reacting to the wind and almost pushed me into the other lane. Not sure who should be fired over programming but this car should not have this much control on a whim to override the driver. These are just a FEW of the many issues I have with this car. This car is a safety hazard to the driver and surrounding cars and will eventually hurt someone. I will never buy another Tucson again and can't wait for the lease to be over to get rid it. I will never buy a Hyundai again after the dealership experience and the experience I have had driving the Tucson

Great Tuscon

Hyundai is a very high quality car. The make and model are great. Comfortable and the car has some get up to it. I love the style of the Tucson and the reliability it has to offer. We will see after my 3 year lease is up how well it has held up.

2025 Tucson Hyundai

Purchased a 2025 Atlantis Blue Tucson Hyundai with black leather seats, dual 12.3 inch infotainment driver display system, sunroof and at lots of bells and whistles in October 2025. Very nice vehicle. I sincerely hope it gives me many years of driving privilege with very few mechanical issues.

Stylish and Basic Get the Job Done

I love the style and the updated infotainment system in the 2025 Hyundai Tuscon. It has great space for my family of four. We drive a lot and so far have no complaints. It does lack storage especially in the back seat area so kids toys are on the floor now or don't get brought into the car. The cup holders in the back are a bit small but do hold basic drinks from food places. The gas tank is super small compared to my Kia optima that held over 17 gallons. I have to fill up a little more than once a week due to how much I drive and the size of the tank. One tank can take me almost 400 miles. Great vehicle for the price too.

Under powered but pleasant

My first opportunity for a long distance trip was just completed and I was frankly disappointed in the vehicle's inability to cruise without frequent transmission shifts. These shifts also resulted in what I found to be an unexpectedly noisy cabin, as my around town test drive lead me to believe the cabin was quite quiet for this size of vehicle..

Lots of issues

Too much technology with push required. You have to take your eyes off the road to turn fan up/down, heated seats and steering wheel up/down, etc. Go back to knobs. Radio is bad. I selected my favorite station, but the car turns it to Reuters all the time. This has started to slow down. Yesterday, my station was playing and all of a sudden the map comes on with Reuters. Can't get the floor mats off to clean.

My Hyundia Tucson, Loving Every Minute

Having owned seven other vehicles prior to this purchase (Toyota, Honda, Nissan (2), Ford & Infinity), this is my first experience with Hyundai. The Tucson was the perfect size that I was looking for in an SUV. The dashboard was fascinating to me, and I love the way everything is setup there. I love the app that I can access to find out things I need to know about my vehicle. I love the ride, but I override that gas saving feature. I also love the fact that I can use regular as opposed to premium gas which my last three cars required. The factory warranty is GREAT. I do wish I had the garage opener feature on my car, I was accustomed to this feature in my other vehicles.

2025 Tuscon July 28th 2025

Bought late July 2025 Love the car, even if it almost got me killed, I came to a slight left hand curve on a two lane road, speed limt 45 mph, cruise control was on, there was a semi, with a flat bed trailer, it was loaded with large boxes, it had pulled into the grass off the road, as I approached the truck the car slammed on its brakes the car behind me had swerved into the on coming lane or he would have rear ended me. Needless to say, I have disabled that feature. Other than that I like the car, not totally in love with cruise control, if you need to change upward or downward there appears no way to do it outside of shutting off the car. I like the drivers seat, interior lighting leaves a little to be desired. It is roomy, spacious seating in the rear is good. There are a lot of features to learn, I think buttons would have been better. Haven`t encountered all the features yet. Oh yes, the Navigation on the car sucks, I have loaded Android Auto, and Waze, trying them both out.
