Love My Tucson

This is my 4th Hyundai that I have owned. Always pleased with the quality, style and features that the Tucson has to offer. I would not trade in my Tucson for anything else other than to upgrade to a newer year.

Big disappointment

The first issue was, they never gave me the actual sticker showing the price of my car and the accessories. I asked for it several times even wrote a certified letter and they did not respond at the local dealership. I finally went in and said I was going to sit there till they gave it to me. They sent me one with a different VIN number in a different color with different accessories in the car I actually purchased. Other issues were the gas mileage was nowhere what it should’ve been and I was told I needed to drive 5000 miles and then it would be what it was, I drove 5000 miles. It still did not show the mileage that was advertised when we purchased it and now I have driven 11,000 miles and it still is not at the advertised Mileage for the hybrid. Other issues is that the service department took my car for overnight servicing and never called me to tell me it was finished. I called them three times and no one called me back in three days. I would not recommend buying any car from this manufacturer.

2023 Tucson Hybrid

Love the SUV. 35 mpg since I bought it new. Only problem was a bad rear shock absorber which made it ride poorly over bumps and on rough roads. Took 11 weeks to replace, which was terrible. 2 Weeks for the part and a 9- week wait for the repair. Not happy about that

Plenty of room and great fuel economy.

Overall a very nice dependable vehicle that is spacious and has good performance, that gets great MPG. It tows our camper very well which is well under 2000lbs. We travel a lot with our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. It is a very comfortable on road trips.

Good gas mileage

Quality comfort, solid body, quiet interior, color paint great, Bought the car used from dealer. Have ha good fuel mileage plenty of power. Seats are comfortable and with the heat and cooling options makes them even better.

Reliable commuter vehicle with plenty of features

Reliable commuter vehicle with plenty of storage for tools. For the price it had a number of extra features over its competitors. I liked it so much that when my wife needed a new vehicle, we purchased a Hyundai Kona. It is a comfortable ride with decent performance. The hybrid motor is getting excellent mileage at 37.5 mpg.

Not as good as hoped

The vehicle has great features and looks nice, but the cheaper build quality is obvious. We got the highest trim and was hoping for better seats, a better performing heated steering/seats, and more options in the dash.

Love my Tuscon!

This vehicle has far exceeded my expectations. Luxury vehicle without the luxury price tag!! This is my second Tuscon purchase and fifth Hyundai auto; Hyundai does not disappoint. I would recommend this brand to all of my friends and family.

2023 Tucson Limited

The Tucson Limited has all the bells and whistles one could want or ask for. I've not had one single problem since it's purchase mechanically. Only issue has been with Nav system controls and features, and being guided to locations that did not the input request on several occasions. That being said, with all the electronic safety features and and computer controlled functions, I'm sure the Nav issue can be resolved. This Tucson LTD. Is a wonderfu,l stylish, an fun drive.

Great vehicle. A bit below expectations as whole purchasing experience

The design, styling and comfort are excellent. The quality, performance and overall reliability of the vehicle could be further optimized a bit. In any case, the reluctance of the dealership to dare to finally get a defective issue in my vehicle fixed in a professional and timely matter is the main reason that might lead me next time I go shopping for a new vehicle, to also visit Honda's and/or Toyota's dealer again.

Great, good looking vehicle.

Title is review. No guts, weak drivetrain for Hyundai's off road foray. Hybrid version and/or 4wd capabilities. Love the car. Either a luxury version of Tucson, with better drivetrain or More off road friendly, with suspension upgrades, drivetrain and engine modifications. The hybrid powertrain is quite capable with suspension upgrades to offer a true XRT AWD Hybrid with a higher ground clearance lift and limited off road capability. Could be a competitor in the vehicle niche, but it is not.

I explained it already

Drivers seat is coming apart and service at Blaise Alexander said it wasn’t covered. I have an extended warranty also. It isn’t normal wear and tear. This is unacceptable and i will tell everyone i know not to buy a Hyundai

Love my Hyundai Tucson

I love the look of my Tucson outside and inside. Very cool looking! I also feel very safe driving it in the snow. Enough space for storage. Plenty of room in the back seat area. Gas tank is a little small, could hold a little more.

5 Star vehicle except for the backup noise

The Tucson drives and rides really well. However, when you put it in reverse, the warning sound is loud enough to wake up neighbors that are hundreds of yards away away. By far the loudest backup warning noise you will hear from any vehicle on the market.

Fun but lots of problems

Overall a comfortable fun vehicle. Oil consumption from day one, shattered glass trim in my driveway, and driver side power seat has blown two fuses so far. Driver side headlight was broken by a small bird.

Great mid-size SUV

We have the Hybrid Limited, and it is fantastic. Its safety and convenience features are exactly what we expected from Hyundai vehicles. From the adaptive cruise control to the automatic braking to the lane departure feature - all are excellent!

Found some rust in the passenger side door frame

Only had it for 2 years and there was a weird spot of rust. Turns out the rust went all the way through the frame. It was in the shop for a month. Hyundai repaired it for me but returned it to me with the inside all dirty.

Excellent SUV

Vehicle is fun to drive and is reliable. Large enough to haul Grandsons and luggage.or haul all my wife’s products to sales events yet very comfortable for 4 adults. I use the adaptive cruise control even in the city

Excellent vehicle

We have owned several cars over the years, but our Tucson is the best of any of them. The SUV feels like we are driving a higher-priced vehicle. Comfortable, solid, with just the right amount of get-up-and-go when needed. Overall, it is a fantastic SUV.

Hyundai review

Great car however check engine light comes on because of a crack that can happen up under your car from rocks. The car needs protection up under the car. It should be standard to have something protecting the piece where your gas is located
