Too much automation but at lease some can be disabled
Some automation can be disabled to keep the car from alerting. The lane departure and adaptive cruise can be disabled, thereby allowing the driver to keep control of the vehicle. However, some automation remains on. Doors lock either when vehicle shifts to D or when reaching 10mph with no way to disable. Also when parked the passenger doors will auto lock if they were not opened. The key fob buttons are too sensitive, commonly sets off panic alarm or opens tailgate if anything else is in pocket with the fob. The vehicle chirps quite loudly when locking and unlocking the doors with no way to silence, occurs when using button on fob or button on the door.
Service information is hard to come by. If you plan to maintain your own 2020 Tucson you will have great difficulty gaining information. Many scan tools do not have information to completely interface with the systems.
Driving experience is good. Pleasant handling, good feel to the wheel and solid brakes. Acceleration is lacking but it does provide a "Sport" mode which has better acceleration, sometimes too responsive, but an option. The six speed transmission is far better than any CVT I have painfully experienced.
