This vehicle suffered from several issues from the planning to the plant. QC should have caught an improper fender gap which was misaligned and(RFQ) needed to be heated and shaped to fit at Dealer Bodyshop. This panel should have been replaced. The battery was dead within one month of ownership. The horn assembly failed within the first 6K. Heated steering wheel/cooled seats should have been included or optioned. Rear a/c vents should have been included. On one occasion the turbo unit failed to engage and the vehicle appeared to be operating on 2 or 3 cylinders as a result. Dealership was NOT notified because of one time event. This issue cleared with a vehicle restart. A good looking model overall but I am concerned for workmanship and future issues.

Build quality and customer service lacking

Buying a brand-new vehicle comes with the expectation of actual support, but my experience with this dealership's service department has been completely unacceptable. The vehicle was brought in to fix non-functional horns, which required removing the front bumper. When I picked the car up, the bumper was noticeably misaligned and no longer flush with the running light—meaning the shop created a new issue while fixing a warranty defect and then suggested sending it to a body shop to fix their own mistake. Additionally, scheduling basic service was dumped onto me, forcing me to call Parts to track down incoming components and call Service back to coordinate the appointment instead of handling it internally. To top it off, getting any serious review regarding severe, premature paint chipping across the hood and emblem trim—where paint is flaking down to the bare primer—resulted in a total runaround between the dealer and corporate with zero willingness to offer a reasonable solution. Between the complete lack of quality control, poor internal communication, and unwillingness to work with customers, I will not be returning to this dealership or buying another Hyundai.

24 Hyundai Eval

This is the 6th Hyundai I've purchased. The cars are reliable, the warranty is one which brings peace of mind and I would purchase another when necessary. The model I have is good looking, has more bells and whistles than I actually need but I have noticed two negatives, one which is annoying and the other which could be a safety concern. The indicators for fan, AC, airflow, etc. are poorly lit. With sunlight entering the car you can barely see the indicators. This is annoying. The more serious concern are the two levers located directly behind the steering wheel labeled + and - that switch the cars gears. They are located so that if you adjust your grip on the steering wheel you could accidently trigger them which then shifts the car into another gear. They are located directly in front of the turn signal and the windshield wiper stalks, too easy to hit by accident.

Loved my Sonata

We had a 2024 Hyundai Sonata in a dark grey for a year & a half & if it wasn’t bc we outgrew it we would still have it (family of five with a booster seat & an infant seat, upgraded to a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe in silver). Our Sonata had everything we needed for our then family of four. It was sleek & comfy & performed very well!

Cruising comfort

I travel 50,000 miles a year and so far have over 80,000 miles on my new 24 sonata all wheel drive! It is safe, handles superb, and great for long trips!

So far I love my car

Leasing my 2024 Hyundai Sonata has been a great experience, especially since this was my first time both leasing a vehicle and owning a Hyundai. The Sonata has exceeded my expectations with its comfortable ride, modern technology, sleek design, and excellent fuel economy. It’s been reliable, enjoyable to drive, and packed with features that make every trip feel premium.
