we found that when the BDC goes bad at 3000 miles, serious problems will ensue.

I just love my Sonata. My last car was a 2008 and my Sonata has so many current features that I just love and some I am still learning about. Each time I take it for a drive I find something I didn't know before. And I love that my car is so smart that it gives me monthly reports on its wellbeing. That is both scary and great because technology has come so far that it can "talk" to me and yet scary that we have come this far. No matter what, I am happy that I bought this vehicle as I compared the dimensions of my old one and wanted something similar and the Sonata is equal and, in some spots, exceeds what I previously had. Just plain AWESOME!!!

My opinion

Everything is great except sometimes the electronics glitch and all of my lights will go out including headlights and the dashboard screen and the windows won’t go down at first until you continuously push the button. I also do not like the automatic break when there’s a car behind you. I was already aware there was a car there I don’t need the car to slam on its breaks by itself. Otherwise car is great

Sonata 2024 review

The car is almost perfect except for one annoying problem. The car will occasionally beep and flash a message saying Consider Taking a break. There should be a way to turn off that message. I hate that message !

Consumer review on my 3rd Sonata

I was in Asia and rented a BYD vehicle, which had seamless Android Auto syncing, with less time spent hitting this button and that button. Put the turn signal and flashers also back on the mirrors. The 2021 interior was more comfortable, stain-resistant, and durable. Slightly extend the top of the dash because when driving into the sunlight in Arizona, I struggle to see my gauges clearly. Aircon and temperature switches are too faint. Enlarge the Blue LED in the aircon switch. The new column on the tree for selecting your drive mode is excellent. Great design. The second rubber insulation on the driver's door takes a lot of abuse from footwear hits it when getting out of the car, eventually perforating it by year 2-3. There is enough power in the engine, but the gas Mileage is fair. Would I buy another Sonata? Absolutely

There are issues with my cars the features don't always work.

Nice car missing several amenities that was only put into the hybrid but unfortunately the hybrid vehicle doesn't offer enough distance for the state of California so I was very uncomfortable about purchasing the hybrid

Awesome car, only thing is my paint is looking crazy....

Love my Sonata, it's the best car I've ever owned. The computer, auto seat adjusters, auto start by key, comfy seats, the look of my car and the only problem I've encountered is the paint is chipping.......
