2023 Hyundai Sonata

I bought this vehicle new. Although I have generally liked the car: size, look, smoothness, exterior noise, the car's fuel injectors begam failing after a year. This year, they failed three times in five months. When they do, the car seizes up and it is dangerous. All three times, we have been on busy interstates. When I approached the dealer to consider rebuying or replacing the car, the answer was a resounding no. The issue is unacceptable and a serious reason not to buy this year and model of Sonata.

2023 Hyundai Sonata overall disappointment

They've taken an inexpensive car and made it into a cheap car. No Sirius connectivity? Only two cupholders in the front seat, NONE in the rear? Sales force has learned to cover up many of the car's shortcomings.

Fourth Hyundai

We have enjoyed the Sonata series of Hyundais and have always been a fan of very good gas mileage while having a comfortable ride and suitable creature comforts in the base options. The current 2023 model is very well equipped but we did lose the power driver’s seat and the rear seat cup holders and fold down center armrests. Colors were limited for the model year, as well. We don’t especially care for the push button automatic transmission preferring an actual handle operated shifter.

Great car

Love driving an outstanding car that is fun and easy to handle.The features are innovative which makes it an extremely safe car. The Sonata’s interior could not be more comfortable along with great mileage per gallon of gas.I would be it over again with no questions asked.

Big Disappointment

I bought a new 2023 Sonata N Line and it has been in the dealership 5 times with issues. Bad axle, bad wheel, front brakes (replaced at 9k), steering wheel clicking. All covered under warranty except the brakes. So much for ease of mind with a NEW car! Big disappointment!

Excellent Car

We needed a car that was reliable and dependable, this was the right car for us. We owned a Genesis, but wanted a slightly smaller car for working and parking in the city. This meets that requirement fantastically. We also wanted a car for travel, the Sonata is a great choice for that as well. Overall a great car!

I really don't understand what this Vehicle Review Til=tle is asking for.

The cabin noise could be improved on. I've only owned the vehicle for 3 weeks, so 98% of the questions asked are not able to be truly answered. Wait a year, THEN send out the review, if you REALLY want objective answers!

I love my car!

My Hyndai

I am early in ownership of my Hyundai Sonata, but most of my experiences have been good. A few problems that I have had are number one the pairing of my cell phone with the onboard entertainment system, and not being able to disable the front and collision warning system permanently.

Styling and comfort

I love this car! I traded in a 2021 for the newest 2023. I was happy that it hadn’t changed the styling very much and I was familiar with its operation. Easy to drive and very comfortable. Love the seat adjust for front passengers.

Great CAR!!

I absolutely love my Hyundai. From the time I walked into Thompson Hyundai I felt valued and appreciated. The process of picking out the car, working out the lease details to actually driving it home the same day were fantastic. Chris Bowen made it the best car buying experience I ever had. My experience buying.

The atyling is great. I like the lack of a gear shifter. I very much appreciate the leg room. The gas mileage is great. The shifting between modes is seemless. Take off can seem a little rough shifting, when in smart mode ad need to take quick; but tgat is relative to the performance.

Really like this car.

Make sure you check the paint job on a new car before you pay 36000 at Hickory Hyundia dealership. Matt was my sales man. The paint job on this car has scratches all over the car and it was new. Didn't see until the sun hit it. He told me was nothing he could do about it.

Love my 23 Sonata. Loaded. Only one big disappointment the paint job has scratches all through the car. Didn't see them until the sun come out a day after i had purchased the car. They refused to fix it.
