Vehicle manufacturing and dealer poor experience
First issue, my wheel well I know has been deformed since day one. I brought it in after a very slow leak. Terri Reed dealership said I must have hit something. I did not as I am a very careful driver and know I never have hit anything and no one else drives my vehicle but I paid for the new tire anyways because I need my car. They rotated the new tire and once again - same wheel very slow leak. Never fixed and don’t dare to go back and buy another tire when tire is not the issue it was the build. Then, my car went from 55mph to 20mph while driving my child to school on highway and I pull over its smoking. I see the problem may be related to other reports from owners and I bring to dealer. They state it’s back ordered. It’s been three weeks and I have been without a vehicle and Terri Reed Hyundai has been no assistance. My vehicle is 2.5 years old and only 30,000 miles on it, I only drive around town and I am careful. These parts are breaking from poor manufacturing and I am out of pocket for rental and fixing an old car just so I can get to school and work. I have a warranty as well. I’m stuck with the vehicle for another 4 years and I am hoping no other issues from the cars build surfaces because I know the dealership will not be helpful. Warranty cannot be confirmed until AFTER repairs states the dealership and therefore will owe on a rental if their decision is the fuel injector not being under warranty. Dealership never has availability to do maintenance and states no proper techs at times to cover repairs or needs. Car has been kept up with regardless and all maintenance still complete, out of pocket and not free through dealership as promised on purchasing. I was excited to have a Hyundai and thought it would last extremely long time especially with how little I drive but I am highly disappointed at how issues have come up and lack of accountability from dealership to aid in helping also, lack of dealership keeping in touch on the issues as they attempt to order parts. Three weeks and I have had to call them 4 times and they do not seem helpful nor caring to help.
