Great car.

I would have given my Sonata a "5" rating but I am very disappointed in the computer aspects of this car. I have mentioned my problem every time I take my car into the dealership for maintenance. In fact, we had the same problem with my last Sonata. One problem is when I get into the car to drive it, I select my user name and it automatically takes the seat to my husband's setting. And this sometimes happens after I have started driving. That is just one example. No one can really tell me why it's doing what it's doing. And I know it's not me because it happens at the dealership and they can't figure it out either. If you want to know the particulars of the problem, contact the dealership or call me or my husband. I actually wish someone would call me.

It takes two months to get an appointment and service is poor

I made an appointment to fix the lag when applying the gas pedal. It was very noticeable each time I drove it. Two months later I got to drive one of the mechanics around who said he did notice it too. He wanted to drive it home so he could get a true idea of what’s going on. That would have been a 160 mile round trip! Why, if he already acknowledged the problem? He wrote that he found no problem. I took my car to a certified garage for an oil change, etc rather than wait two months for Hyundai. They said I had a small oil leak, two months later Hyundai said there was no leak, but there was a recall for something having to do with the fuel system. I thought they finally will address the problem. They would call when they got the parts to schedule an appointment. Meanwhile I replaced the air filter with one that was high performance which did help decrease the lagging. You guessed it, two months later, I took it in and found there was no part to change but the software was updated! I asked if this update was going to eliminate the lagging and was told no, they needed to add a sticker. I’m not sure what that meant but I’m very dissatisfied with the level of customer service.

A great family car.

i did

this is my 4th hyundai never had any trouble withtheam till i bought 2023 less then 5.000 miles had to have rotors replaced put new rotors on but knot brakes in about 30 daye brought the car back said still have a shimmy when put breaks on they said couldn't find anything wrong 3 more times brought back same then i said re balance tires see if that will get rid of it n then it didn't then the said you need need new brakes an rotors after bringing it back 3 times now they say i have to pay 6.5300 dollars for repairs after i complained so settled with me heaving to pay 3.5300 out of my pocket then later on it blew fuel injector then later on blew it blew this time they put 4 new injectors on all less then 25.000 mile on this car now they call me wont me to come in look at new cars for sale after all this /// what would you do ??

Oil kept disappearing

Had it at the dealership 14 times. Oil kept disappearing dealership kept saying it was normal. What a joke that was.

Great overall car to drive with a wonderful experience while driving!

The car is very comfortable specially on long trips with a lot of options. For the price you cannot beat it. If you want something that drives with great gas mileage in normal mode. It is a fantastic car. If you wanna have a little fun, put it in sport plus and you will be pleasantly surprised about the power of this car. The only thing I wish it had was limited slip differential. But for the price and the options you get that’s a good trade-off. My first car that I will probably be paying off and keeping until the wheels fall off.
