Very satisfied

Overall I give this vehicle a nine rating. I love my Sonata N-Line and get lots of compliments. I am a little concerned about the engine however. I’m worried that later in the years that it may give me trouble whether or not the 4-cylinder engine can handle dual turbochargers and if it will start consuming oil like the engine in my 2015 Sonata that had to be swapped out.

Great car at a great price...with one caveat

I would have easily given this car a five-star rating, but since day one, I've had issues with the Apple Car Play feature going in and out. Most of the time, I can push two buttons and get it back, but sometimes I have to totally reinstall it. Since I deliver food as a side job, it's important that I have a map and directions to look at and follow, which Apple Car Play provides. But when it disconnects, it becomes a safety issue. This problem was not an issue with my 2020 Hyundai Sonata. I have seen online forums where other Hyundai Sonata owners (as well as owners of other vehicles) have had this same frustrating issue. The car manufacturers and Apple need to work this out before someone has an accident while having to push buttons unnecessarily to navigate. I suspect the problem came about in the 2021 model, since Apple Car Play is both wireless and plugged in this model. In the 2020 model, it had to be plugged into the port. Other than this issue, I love the car and would highly recommend it to others.

Love my Sonata

This is one of my favorite cars to date. It’s stylish, great on gas, had all the tech i wanted and tons of safety features. Have enjoyed the heads up display and the lane departure warning. Cant complain about this vehicle at all. Loved the brand so much we returned for a second Hyundai for our family!

Good gas mileage.

So far so good, everything working great, no complains so far, very good miles per gallon, has a lot of features that cars more expensive has, most are safety features, could use more power though, but rides really good.

Love this car!

I love this car! It runs great, is great on gas. It has a very roomy interior. It rides very smoothly. The trunk has a lot of room. This car has some great features, backup camera, side mirror warning and warnings when the car in front of you is too close. It will also stop you from backing up if a car is going by the back of you. Overall, it’s a great car

Sonata Limited is a great car.

Great value for the money and one of the most feature rich cars available. The heads up display is highly functional a one of my favorite features of the Sonata Limited. The 360 degree view makes parking very easy.

Very Satisfied

Great fuel efficiency, great feature set, great appearance. I’ve taken a number of long-ish (500 +/- miles) on a single tank. No need for fuel or stretch stops. Very comfortable car to drive. People, including strangers, have commented on the styling and appearance.

good car for that money

great car, very nice exterior design. some features are missing or not found - like locking the door manually rather than with key. battery was replaced after just one year. very unusual short life for such car and for very moderate usage.

Good value. Reliable

Pretty solid car. Except for the road noise. Probably just a recall or something. Great car though overall. Nothing about this car is outdated at all. The interior is very comfortable and has a relaxed style.

Best car I had so far

I have had over 4 vehicles and the 2021 Hyundai Sonata is my fifth. I love it! I love how it handles windy roads, the features that come in SEL model, and the drive comfort! I am surprised with the fuel economy as when I drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles, I get 40 MPG.

I am overall very happy with my vehicle. Very comfortable for long drives given I have a bad back. I also wish it had nicer style of rims on her. I also really enjoy the extra features. The driver assistance features with assistant steering and cruise controls work great.

Wonderful car

This car replaced my previous trouble-free Hyundai Azera with 47,000 miles. In 16 months it has also been trouble-free, and a delight to drive and own, even after many years of Corvettes and Cadillacs. One minor problem with the voice command was solved with a software update.

I mostly like my car

I mostly like my car. There are a few things that could be improved. Better storage in the front middle console, add a drivers seat back pocket. This was a feature that was discontinued. It is very easy to bump the controls in the middle without knowing it. Radio system very difficult to find the controls and diff to set those controls. Confusing to use the main screen to find what you are looking for. Add the pull down shades on the passenger windows. This was also discontinued. They were very convenient. I don’t like the push button gear control, would prefer the previous one

Great experience, wonderful vehicle

I have loved my car. I have had it a little over a year now and have only had one issue with it, which I discussed in a previous section. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I get so many compliments on the color and appearance of the car.
