Great reliable vehicle!
I bought my 2016 Hyundai Sonata April of 2016 as a certified vehicle from Cardinale Hyundai in Corona, Ca. My vehicle had 39,000 miles at the time of purchase and now it has almost 68,000 miles. I have taken my vehicle for all services required to Hyundai and so far my Sonata has been extremely reliable. Since purchased I’ve always requested full synthetic oil 5w30 at every oil change, which I feel will protect the engine a little better than conventional oil. I have taken many road trips with my Sonata and it’s been amazing in gas, I’ve been getting about 600 miles per tank driving on the freeway, which is astonishing for a gasoline four cylinder engine and a vehicle of its size.
As many of you have probably already heard some engines on the Sonatas 2.4L and 2.0L are having engine failure at a premature mileage or more, but Hyundai is standing behind their products and replacing engines when needed. So it really shouldn’t discourage anyone from getting a Sonata, since you can get a great deal on a CPO with low miles and many high tech features.
I am very content with my Sonata and would recommend this vehicle to anyone seeking style, comfort and amazing high tech features in a vehicle at a resonance price that won’t break the bank!
