Hyundai 1244 Rt 23 North- Wayne, NJ - Brandon- Gen'l Manager Rocco

Vehicle is good, this is why the purchase was. made, but within a couple of weeks of purchase, received a major recall. This is frustrating as time has to be taken out of the workday to schedule this on a brand new vehicle, not to mention the hours, days to correct an error made by the dealer to obtain plates that expired - Only got them in person at Motor Vehicle myself December 9th - when the car was purchased in late September. Customer service, follow up, zero attention to detail. Very disappointed at this experience with Hyundai, I even opened a case and they too pushed me only to work with the dealer, who are useless.

Powerful, yet comfortable

Traded 2023 Honda Ridgeline in for 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy FWD for the 0% financing. Have been happy with it except for the Check ABS and ESC light coming on under 1,000 miles while on a road trip. Had to pull over and turn off the vehicle for the lights and messages to disappear. Called dealership and they said it was still safe to drive and made an appointment to bring it in on that Monday. There was a faulty part and they replaced it under warranty after getting the part in after a week. The dealership has been going through some management structure changes and at times it seemed like they were unsure on some things, but overall, the people have been nice and helpful. I'm still new to being a Hyundai customer (only since 09/30/2025), so I hope that there is nothing else that goes wrong and I can continue to happily drive my new Santa Fe.

Too many driver controls (lane departure, collision warning, etc)

Love the vehicle but hate all of the automatic driver controls, and the annoying process to go through in order to turn them off.

Maybe Best New Car Ever Owned

After driving it for about 2500 miles we took it on a 3500 mile road trip with not one problem. This particular car in my opinion is as close to being 100% perfect as any new car I have ever owned.

Nice ride but a LOT of poor/glitchy technology

Since I bought the vehicle 2 months ago, I continue to struggle with the dash display and Android auto. The map on the car (I think it is the Blue link map) is absolutely awful! It is a black screen that can not be seen at all during the day. I have read the booklet and searched online and find no solutions. It takes up 1/3 of my home screen with just a black box. The XM radio (when it works) does not show the song title or artist like every other car I have owned. Just the station. Many times when I start up he car, the XM goes back to channel 1. It is not easy while driving to get the radio tuned in. If I use my Android Auto, sometimes it will just turn off XM and go silent, sometimes it will have podcasts to listen to, and other times play normal (what I want) XM radio. So this leaves me the choice to drive without a map (well a black box) or drive without sound. I spent a lot of money on this vehicle and have usually enjoyed the Hyundai products, but I am not satisfied with my Santa Fe at this point. We have a 2023 Palisade, and oddly enough, all the controls are flip flopped on the steering wheel. Since I drive both vehicles , It seems like I spend a lot of time looking at the wheel to make sure I am hitting the right knobs. The car does drive fairly nice and is roomy, but I am having trouble getting past some of these issues.

Good car for price

Love the car except that I can’t use cruise control with sunglasses on!! Living in SoCal, sunglasses are a must when driving and no cruise control with sunglasses is no bueno! Please allow cruise control with sunglasses.
