I am sorry that we were not able to foresee which part would be necessary to fix your vehicle.  Your hatch has two different lifts and we had to diagnose which lift was causing the concern before we could order the part.  It isn't feasible to keep all parts in stock when they so frequently become obsolete with new models coming out all the time.  I know you were frustrated and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.  We very much appreciate your business and thank you for your feedback.   Traci Wentling

Tom the service person at first was kind, I took in my vehicle for a interior light issue but I explained to him during the time I bought the vehicle I was told I could get a free detail service and a free oil change. He said that is not something they offer. I said yes it is, because that is what the sales agent told me so I expect that to be included since this is the first and likely only time I will be utilizing this service. Tom didn’t say much after but when I dropped the car off on Sunday. I made sure to write that it needed a detail service done also. My vehicle was done Monday, he said he didn’t have time to do my detailing. I asked him when he will have time? He said not until Wednesday, I told him to book it for Wednesday then. Keep in mind, I don’t live in dodge city and I had to BORROW a car to be able to head home for work in Hays KS. He seemed very upset that I was willing to do that, but I knew what I was promised and I was upset that he was acting like I was crazy for having that expectation. Wednesday comes, I ask my mom to pick up the vehicle and when I was I was LIVID, I was so upset I could not think. They vacuumed the vehicle, I asked for a detail service and they only vacuumed it. I had my car stay in dodge city for an extra two days for a man to vacuum it?!?! No sir, no ma’m...that is not okay. So we spoke to a manager of course, I cannot remember his name. He understood immediately what service we where talking about but he said unfortunately he is booked up for another week so he wouldn’t be able to get me in for some time. This personally upset me because clearly I don’t have time to come back and trade my vehicle, that’s a lot of driving. Ultimately we figured out a way to work. During the wait for the appointment the interior lights blew a fuse again, so we called and asked them to fix it, they said they would but it would have to be rescheduled for later. Again, this was already inconvenient and for them to not prioritize someone who has been dicked around was disturbingly unprofessional. Finally the appointment was set, they gave my mother a temporary cat while they worked on it which I thought was very nice of them. I got a call from someone saying that The interior lights where fixed, I asked them if the detailing was done? They said “uggh, no? There isn’t a detailing service listed” which is upsetting to hear, my mother reached management again and was able to schedule that the following day. She received the car, she said they did a good job. At that point I was upset about how long it took but at least it got done. I drove to pick up my car, then I wondered where they put some things so I looked in the trunk....

THEY DIDNT CLEAN THE TRUNK AND LEFT A TRASH BAG FULL OF TRASH IN THE TRUNK.
I don’t know why this place is so unprofessional, I had high hopes when I bought my car everything seemed great but this experience makes me want to never recommend H&M’s to anyone which is a damn shame because my boyfriend and his father where both wanting to get Hyundai’s because of how good the mileage is on my car. We will just go to Wichita.

Every new Hyundai is meticulously detailed and filled with fuel before delivery.  We do apologize for the rudeness you received from one of our managers.  The service repairs were fully covered by factory warranty.  During the first warranty repair visit, we washed and vacuumed the vehicle but no complete detail was performed.  We believe the demand to detail the vehicle was unreasonable after it had been in your possession for more than three years and in its current abused and lived-in condition.  However, the detail department was instructed to do a complete detail on the vehicle upon completion of the second warranty repair.  Management instructed the detail department to save everything within the car because we had no way of knowing what was trash and what might be valuable to you.  Our mistake was to fail to tell you that this sealed bag was in the trunk.  We regret the entire situation but feel we handled it the best possible way at the time.

Had to bring my car in on a recall. Had a nice cup of coffee while I waited. Service was completed in the 1/2 hour that was projected by the friendly service manager. While I waited I was glad to see the dealership had someone disinfecting surfaces in the waiting area. She was friendly as well and wanted to know if there was anything she could do for me. There wasn't but I appreciated her asking.
