Love/ hate relationship

I have a 2024 Santa Fe Limited. The room on the interior is great. I love the shape I live in New York and it did surprisingly well with the snow. It’s a comfortable drive, but for me some of the cons I wish they will fix in the future certain areas my biggest complaint is the power it needs more horsepower also mine hesitates for at least 2 to 3 seconds on acceleration. I don’t know if it is a low torque or transmission, but that definitely needs to get improved. Also the breaking for me sometimes feels as it grabs when it should be smooth of course the styling I wish they would put body colored cladding on the wheel wells on the higher trims, maybe with a little flare, not so straight down like my window trim feel cheap. You could see where they cut corners,

Great but could be amazing

Love the styling, ride and feel of the car and the new direction you've taken it. It could really be amazing and a great rival to Toyota 4Runner with a few more enhancements.

Buyer beware

Warranty nightmare. Drive train issues. Trans replaced at 21,000 miles. At 33,000 back in the shop with drive train noise they cannot figure out, for the second time

We bought the 1st new style year. Had problems with the charging port within the first 8 months (was in the shop for over 2 months waiting for the part to come in; then had 2 recalls. Style is great, room and features are nice, but could have done without the mechanical issues

Great Santa Fe Held Back by Overly Aggressive Driver Assistance

Overall, I really like my 2024 Santa Fe. It is comfortable, well designed, has excellent technology and features, and offers a lot for the money. My biggest disappointment is the calibration and operation of several driver-assistance features. Some of these systems feel overly aggressive rather than helpful. The automatic lane-change feature is too sensitive and inconsistent, making it more frustrating than useful. Adaptive cruise control also needs improvement when changing lanes. When moving into an open passing lane, the vehicle can unnecessarily slow down instead of maintaining the selected speed or smoothly accelerating toward it. This makes the system feel less natural than it should. The driver-monitoring/face camera needs significant improvement. I have experienced repeated problems with this system, and it has required dealer attention. A safety system should operate reliably and consistently without creating unnecessary warnings or distractions. Hyundai has built an excellent vehicle, but the driver-assistance software and driver-monitoring system need refinement. These features should assist the driver smoothly and predictably rather than constantly calling attention to themselves.

Frustrating Santa Fe

Driver assist that monitors your movements and tells you to consider taking a break is STUPID and I want it removed from my car. 50+ times on a 3-hour trip from Omaha to Kansas City drives me crazy/ If the driver assist camera is blocked it shuts off all auto features, including cruise control and you find yourself slowing down in traffic, this is dangerous! Front seat belt buckles are too far below the seats and hard to find. Driers seat belt buckle gets wedged behind the left side of driver's door and is hard t pull out. This is my third Santa Fe, and probably my last, unless you get this stuff fixed. Auto breaking slammed us to a stop entering a parking stall the other day. leaving a small bag of groceries on the back seat causes the seatbelt alarm and you have to buckle the belt to stop it;

So much potential!

Great vehicle if the kinks were corrected. Engine turns off while driving, periodically, and they couldn't figure out why. Sold it within 2 years & got a BMW x3.

3 Row SUV in a budget with ample space

I have own 2020 Palisade, 2021 Santa Fe, and the space in cabin in 2024 Snata Fe is superior from last 2 vehicles, performance wise is fast, and all electronics since is a Calligraphy.

great car with small details to fix

I had the car for more than 6 months and i am very satisfied with the overall performances. here are a few observations to make it more comfortable or to change some details that have been bothering me in some cases: the air condition controls are all touch panel, but it is difficult to see them when the sunlight hits them directly and it is easy to mistakenly touch the seat heater or the air direction when trying to control something else. I like the many boxes and compartments around the driver's seat. a sunglass holder on the ceiling would be nice...

It was a very nice SUV

The Santa Fe's are well built cars but after about 2mo, you will start hearing something like air from sitting in the drivers seat, coming from the passenger back seat window
