Almost Perfect

This is a great 2 row SUV. Plenty of power, plenty of features. Almost everything is great. I have two gripes- infotainment is slow and laggy. And the main gripe is the automatic wipers. There's no intermittent option, and putting it on auto-no matter where you have the adjustable dial set- leads to hyperactive wipers when not needed at all. Even in the slightest drizzle, the wipers take off as if you were driving in a hurricane.

Breaks problem

I bought a brand new 2023 Santa Fe from a dealer and have been having break problems after since I have driven a few thousand miles. I had the car for break repairs many times and they do not fix or change them they only fix them temporary and then I have to go back again.

Rides firm and handles good for an SUV. Windows cannot be cracked when the vehicle is locked because the alarm goes off. Very inconvenient when it's hot outside. Numerous electrical issues and horn shorted out.

My first time buying a SUV

This is the first SUV I have owned, I have always driven a sedan type car. All new car models have become too low to the ground (hard to get in and out of), and ride uncomfortably.. I love the height of my Hyundai, it fits me just right. I have not had any problems/issues with it. It has been very dependable. I am very satisfied with it.

electric system unreliable

if I leave the headlights on automatic, the battery runs down if I leave my cord plugged in to the charging port for Apple CarPlay kills the battery. There’s no warning signal for if you leave your headlights on, so I forget to turn them off because they’re supposed to go off automatically. also, the alarm sound for locking the car is so low. You can’t hear it. I was in a parking lot and couldn’t find my car and I kept pressing the button. I couldn’t hear the alarm and it was one aisle away from me, it took me 20 minutes to find my car. I am an old person.

I like to style of the 23 Santa Fe, but a new Santa Fe sucks

The new Santa Fe is two boxy. I would not order that for my next vehicle.

Continued Faithful Hyndai Santa Fe owner

I have owned only Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles for the last 28 years and have been over all very satisfied with my vehicles. There have been a few minor hiccups ups but Hyundai sent out recall ups dates regularly over the years. With my 2023 I had an issue with the horn not working at all. When I questioned it at the dealership they said they ordered the part but it hadn't come in for the longest time and no explanation was made when I called to check. In the mean time I had many close calls when I really need that horn. Eventually I decided to trade my vehicle in. After I had traded I received a notice from Hyundai about this issue at which point it didn't matter. I did purchase a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe of which I hated the new boxy style and didn't really want. I am very accustomed to the safety features, and the overall service I have received from the Benson Hyundai Dealership in Spartanburg, SC and have enjoyed working with Mr. Winecoff over the last 12 years. By the way turns out I love my car!

Happy Santa Fe Owner

Very happy with my Santa Fe Calligraphy model. Has all the bells and whistles of more expensive cars for 1/3 of the price. Quiet, dependable, comfortable easy to drive.
