Hybrid vs. plug in

I love the suv but the plug-in is a little inconvenient, regular chargers don’t fit. Very inconvenient to find plug in areas during traveling. Mostly just purchase gasoline but very good with long distance travels

2023 Santa Fe PHEV

2023 Santa Fe PHEV we traveled to Islip NY to buy the vehicle after researching it and others online. This dealer gave us the same price that the "Build your Hyundai" website did. Several other dealers we contacted told us we would need to purchase several thousand dollars of add-ons to be able to buy the vehicle because we were from out of state.

This is an amazing car. It has all the bells and whistles. It looks beautiful too! The MPG is wonderful. This vehicle should be on everyone’s list if anyone wants the luxury feels that wouldn’t cost them an arm or a leg.

Awesome vehicle!

Good fuel economy & it is smaller

It is a great car. You really do get all of the bells & whistles for a smaller price tag. The eco mode is good for daily driving. The smart is good for longer trips abd sport is when you have a need for speed.

Quality vehicle

This Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV is well made and comfortable to drive. I used it primarily for driving around town and plug in overnight every 2-3 days. I have not filled up the gas tank since purchasing the car and have more than 1000 miles on it. Of course I will need to with longer drives. So far, it has met my expectations. Very quiet in EV mode and good sound system.

Good value for the money

For all the features that come with this Santa Fe Plug-in the price is right. It does what I need it to do and without any long drives I would probably get 1500 - 2000 miles on a single gallon of gas.

I am pleased with my 2023 Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid but it was priced to high.

I am pleased with my new 2023 Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid, I wish it would have cost me a lot less money, the interior comfort and ease of getting in and out of the car in why I bought this vehicle, the gas MPG should be better along with the electric range, and the car should come with a full sixed spare tire.

Great car

To my surprise this cat is a delight to drive. Handles very well with very good acceleration. The cameras are excellent especially when parking. All and all so far this is the best car I have owned. Oh with my driving needs I’m getting 500-600 miles to the tank. 56 mpg ?

Great Styling and features

Love the PHEV, driving on my free solar fuel is very nice. Still uses gas for long road trips - good hybrid fuel mileage in hybrid mode. Great features, Big enough to fit the family and cargo, Great family car.

Great experience at Hyundai.

Hyundai was easy to work with. Ian helped us through whole process and was great. The car is comfortable, I love the great gas mileage. It has lots of safety features, the only one I dislike is the beeping noise when reversing. Otherwise , I would recommend.

Love the plug in electric vehicle and electric range exceeds the average as expected and hope for a long life after 3 months of ownership. The vehicle exceeds the 2010 version by leaps and bounds and towing has been very easy. Transmission is smooth and conversion from electric to regular combustion engine is seamless.

Great sales experience at Hamilton Hyundai in Clovis, NM. Emily was great to work with.

The Santa Fe Plug In Hybrid has exceeded my expectations. All of my research was online and watching video's and reviews. I liked what I had found in my research and what I was getting for the dollar. Ended up buying the car site unseen and without ever test-driving. Also Hamilton Hyundai was the only dealership that did not add a ridiculous dealer markup! Hyundai should not let the other dealers use tis practice.

Great comfort and safety features. The vehicle it has ample interior space and cargo space. It has all the latest security features that you will expect. For the size of the vehicle is fuel efficient but I wish the EV part would have been more that 30 miles on EV because in reality they go fast.

Very happy with our Plug-in Santa Fe

This is our third Hyundai and replaces a 2017 Santa Fe Sport. It was very hard to get this Plug-in, but has been worth the effort. So far my only complaint is that the dashboard vent at the center on the driver's side does not properly close and makes a draft.

Great vehicle, luxurious interior, PHEV available

The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV is a really fun vehicle to drive. It's loaded with safety technology and the Limited trim model has added features the makes the experience very enjoyable. The interior is spacious, especially in the rear cargo area. Only flaw is the trailering hitch (looks like an aftermarket add-on). Also, currently waiting on a fix from Hyundai for the safety recall on vehicles with trailering package (fuse removal does not apply to vehicles with 4 pin connector, which mine has). So I'm in a loaner for the time being.

Hyundai Santa Fe Plugin Hybrid

I precisely wanted to go for this vehicle bcoz of the Plugin in option, so that I can drive both the EV & Hybrid mode in the same car. Mostly in the EV for all the local drive as it has a range of 30 miles after full charge. I have been noticing that even when the EV mode is turned on with full charge the mode gets changed to Hybrid mode if the climate controls are turned on or if we are accelerating high. Which is weird, if I am not using any mode just driving normally the EV mode will be turned on, not sure if this is a bug. But I hope Hyundai could fix it so that we can experience the EV mode completely just like the other only EV cars. - Thanks
