Best Car on the Market

Love my car. Exterior profile is elegant, not square. Interior is luxurious and comfortable; multiple colors and textures, all coordinated in beige and brown instead of the usual all one color, mostly black. Car is solid, where I find many other brand vehicle doors are tinny, feel hollow and not "sturdy". Ride is smooth, quiet, with plenty of power. Good gas mileage, loaded with options. Expect to keep this vehicle for a long time.

Great SUV - great mileage around town!

The PHEV feature is awesome for trips under 30 miles per charge. I keep it charging every night, and rarely use gas when running errands or commuting. Longer distance mileage is comparable to a Hybrid. I also like the driver assist function for highway driving. The Santa Fe is comfortable to drive and to ride in (unlike some other SUV's), and it handles snow and unpaved roads with confidence.

A great ride

We are enjoying our Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid, especially the gas savings. Our daily driving is rarely more than the 30 mile range of the electric battery but it is nice to know that we have the gas engine when we need it.

Nice solid car with comfortable ride & good space. Enjoy the EV miles. If gas hybrid mile could be increased a real winner. I think cabin noise could be better at highway speed.

Overall I love the vehicle.

The vehicle is comfortable, fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. I only have two issues. The headlights are a problem. I have messaged Hyundai before but never received a response. There is a black spot on the drivers side of the vehicle. It makes driving at night hard. This is a safety concern that should be addressed. The other issue is whoever thought putting a usb plug next to the drink holder was out of their mind. Anytime the drink sloshes out it drops into the usb port. I am constantly trying to clean up moisture from getting into it.

This is my favorite vehicle ever!

The gas milage on this PHEV is excellent. The vehicle is very comfortable and fun to drive. I wish that Hyundai still built a Santa Fe PHEV because I'd recommend it to my friends over and over.

A joy to own

Have had no major problems. Enjoy the great mileage with the plug-in. Just remember to plug it in overnight. Same type of vehicles as others at a lower cost.

Great car but need to warm up for deep freezes

The car works and rides wonderfully. Only warning is that electric engine need to warm up for 5-10 minutes when weather 20 degrees and below. In mid drive, engine light will flash and then shut down...which is a driving hazard, especially on Highway.
