So Far, So Good

We've only had our 2025 Santa Fe for 4 months but we love it. The safety features are awesome, the tech is mind-blowing, the ride very comfortable.

2025 Santa Fe Hybrid

Have been very happy overall with our Santa Fe after 20k miles. Had one issue with the fuel rail sensor wiring harness at 21k miles that caused the vehicle to limp home, but the dealer was responsive and had it corrected and back to us after one day. Overall comfort is very good and very happy with the hybrid performance and fuel economy.

2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid limited

We purchased a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid limited. It's an adequate vehicle with many nice features. It is 2026 now and gas prices are ridiculous so having the hybrid is a definite bonus. Will probably not go back to a standard gas vehicle. Overall it is a comfortable ride, and the limited has the nice options that we wanted. It has a few head scratchers however: no spare tire, which is odd because every other brand of hybrid has a spare tire. They do provide a little penny air pump and some tire sealant, but no spare tire is really odd. If you use the third row seat there is not much heat that gets back there. It has rear AC, but no rear heat. Also, you have to annoyingly login every time you drive the vehicle for your radio station preset to work. Even if you just leave it as a guest, you still have to login every time which is highly annoying. There might be a setting to fix that but I haven't found one yet. I do like how the second row has adjustable which is nice if you do have to use the third row. Overall it's a decent vehicle but without a spare tire it is a little nerve-racking to drive.

Beautiful but

It’s a beautiful vehicle. We purchased the calligraphy. Great until it shuddered on freeway @ 55 days old, but reset after turning car off. Got told bad gas, insurance deductible $500 paid for the $8000 of replacement parts….which took 3 weeks after dropping off by tow truck They Test drove it for an hour calling me to say I could pick up an hour later after detailing it. Then called me back. It was shuddering again. Their premium gas, all new parts, and guess what, is was a warranty COVERED ignition coil, that caused the shuddering, the whole time. They did NOT refund me or y insurance company. I didn’t bother going thru the hassle but should have because the only reason they final got my car fixed after sitting in my driveway for a Month and 3 weeks at the Dealer was my husband contacting corporate Hyundai. Really Hyundai owes State Farm their $ back and me my deductible back, because just my description they automatically said dirty gas…. Ps I have used Costco gas for 20 years, never an issue, my 6 year old truck uses only Costco gas which I bought brand new and never a problem. Husband convinced me to to buy Hyundai, and it will be the last. He has had multiple work ones but I should have stuck with my gut.

Love my Sante Fe hybrid

The Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid is one of the best vehicles I have owned. I’ve had the Hyundai palisade, Lexus RX 350 for my first six vehicles in the last 40 years. The Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid is no disappointment.

Love my 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid SUV

I love my vehicle. People will stop me and say what kind of car is that? It’s sharp! So it has the looks. It’s full of luxury and safety features. Some people hear it running and ask if it’s electric. Other people when they ask about it I tell them it’s a hybrid and I typically get over 30 mpg.

My Fourth Hyundai Santa Fe

We are loyal Hyundai customers. We purchased our new Santa Fe Hybrid in December. After our first oil change at the dealership we have had an ongoing issue with lurching and deceleration when getting up to speed on the highway. The first time we tried to reach 45mph on a highway that runs through town, the car began to decelerate down to 30 while the gas pedal was depressed to the floor. We made an appointment with the service department at the dealership. It was parked the rest of the day, and the next day it seemed fine so we drove it to the dealership without an issue. They couldn't pull any codes or replicate the problem so we drove it home and chalked the problem up to a fluke. Weeks later while on a busy bypass while trying to accelerate to 65mph it lunched and dropped to 36mph. I was almost rear ended. Later a friend's husband drove it to our home and couldn't accelerate to 45 without it stuttering or lurching. We made an appointment at the dealership with service department again. A few days later we thought we would try driving it to drop off at the dealership prior to the appointment. Town driving seemed fine, but when I got onto the highway it again decelerated when we tried to go from 60 mph to 70. With the gas pedal fully depressed it lunched or stuttered and dropped to 36 mph. At this point we pulled off onto the shoulder and called roadside assistance to tow it to the dealership. The vehicle has been in the service department for almost 2 weeks and we received a call today that again they were not able to pull codes or replicate the issue. They informed us that without a code or the problem being duplicated there is nothing they can do for us.They asked if I would like to come drive it with the technician as a passenger so I could "make it do what it has been doing". This is a random problem that we do not know how to initiate, it just happens with no forewarning. We are highly disappointed as Hyundai has been a go to vehicle for us for years. We have referred many people to the dealership we purchase vehicles at because of how impressed we have been with the salespeople, the service department, and the vehicles. The frustration of buying a new vehicle and having ongoing issues with deceleration that poses a huge safety issue is disheartening. If we cannot get real resolution for our issues we have no choice but to end our years long relationship with Hyundai .
