Love it, but I have an electrical issue that the local Hyundai could not repaired, eventhough they found an electrical draw on the battery 20 plus days in the service department

Comfortable, Practical, Efficient, and Reliable

This vehicle takes a little getting used to because of the unusual transmission configuration. However, the extra console room makes it more than worth it. The interior design makes the most of the room available and the rear monitoring system is invaluable in exiting tight parking spaces. Fun to drive, power is just adequate, but gas mileage is excellent. A very comfortable vehicle for short or long trips.

One of the best cars I have ever owned

We bought this car to be the family car, we needed something a little bigger than the cars we had and boy, do we love this car, full economy is great, it is full of comfort and gadgets that I didn't even know I needed in my life. Love all the extras like the camera rear view mirror, the blind camera that pops in the dash area, just amazing.

I love the vehicle, the comfort, luxury, and technology are all exceptional. I am pleased with the hybrid efficiency and the mileage I am averaging is 32 mpg. My only problem is that there is excessive wind/road noise from the driver and passenger windows. It is very noticeable when highway driving or in windy situations.

My ride

There are several little things that bother me regarding the infotainment system. Okay, I'm old. But it doesn't feel very intuitive to me. And in some modes, the clock/time is not visible due to the overlay of screens. The outside mirror setting does not auto-adjust per driver. In fact, the "selection" process for who is driving at any time could be better/faster. If I turn the heated seats and steering wheel on, then turn off the car to do an errand, it doesn't remember that I want those on -- gotta set it again. If I turn it on, it is because it is cold - I'm going to continue wanting it on until I turn it off.

Around town car

Gets great gas mileage around town. Can fit several people comfortably. Dog on third row if not much luggage. The hybrid features are cool but maybe the first year had some kinks it still needed to work out (had to get a new fuel pump 1.5 years in and still had stuttering like it couldn’t decide if it wanted to use the gas engine or the battery).

Blind spot sensor module poorly designed as well, more so how exposed to dust, mud and other particles that made it fail.

Great vehicle, goes the distance

Aside from the weird quirk of needing to be locked by remote, the vehicle has proven to go an average of nearly 600 miles with each fill-up making traveling in Texas so much easier. Comfort and technology surpassed our expectations.

Love My Santa Fe Hybrid

This is the 2nd Santa Fe I've owned. The first one was a 2007 that is still running today with over 250,000 miles on it. What I love about the new design: The shape. It's unique While it's super roomy on the inside it doesn't driver or park like a larger vehicle. Super easy to park. The 3rd row seat fits adults The screen Many high end features at an affordable price. Average 35 mpg as a Hybrid

Peppy and luxurious. Great tech - that mostly all works.

I love the exterior boxy styling. That is personal choice, but definitely stands out a bit in a crowded world of midsize SUVs. The Hybrid system is peppy - quick acceleration from a stop - and good highway merge speed. Drive is great... I do mostly city and highway driving - not much offroading. The interior is super luxurious (I have the platinum package). Lots of goodies like seat warmers, coolers, steering wheel warmers, interior night lights of any color. The physical buttons for media and A/C are great... I can't deal with 100% digital interfaces. Some of the tech is a little over the top... for example you can create individual user profiles to keep settings and phone connections secure. It sounds great - but makes for an extra step of logging in each time... and little more complicated for guests using the car (but possible). The digital key system for a phone and smart watch are super convenient - but mine keeps 'deactivating' occasionally requiring complete reset. That essentially means I MUST have a key since I can't predict when the digital key will stop working. Besides these minor tech issues - all mechanical features have worked well. No real maintenance in 1.5 years. Overall I'm super happy with my car.
