Great ride, great looks.

The vehicle rides so well. I had a business trip which required me to drive a mid-size coupe. I couldn't wait until I got back into Santa Cruz. It rides so much better. I like the layout of the vehicle. It has good pickup an all around great vehicle. The one draw back is the locks. The sensor on the door handle of my the passenger side does not work well. Approximately 80% of the time it will not unlock the doors.

Granny Car

This is a very great car for me! I love it abut am and old lady but it really is sporty! It gets attention when I drive it. I need to do tons of reading in manual! But overall very much fun to drive. I have not let my dogs into it yet but soon. I am extremely happy with this car!

A truck that feels like a car!

We are retired and wanted to purchase a larger vehicle so that my wife felt safer driving as we age. The Santa Cruz was a perfect fit. It feels like you are driving an SUV, but it’s a truck! People always stop us and ask about it because of the futuristic look.

Love the Look

We have bought Hyundai Sonata hybrids since 2011. We have always been happy with the Hyundai brand. I have loved the looks of the Santa Cruz since I saw it on the internet years ago. I am happy that I now have one.

Not in my hand’s right now and don’t have the time to get it

Vehicles nice to drive has a good pick up on it when you press on the gas pedal the styling is great and overall it’s a nice vehicle, would definitely buy another one like the way the handles good vehicle and I’m definitely like to stop

Great Option other than an SUV

I love the fact that the truck is on an SUV chassis, not to big, not to small. The stying is great... very different than most other cars. The truck bed is perfect size for routine household use. And the Stone Blue Color is the best ever. Seems to be ind of a cult following on line for the Santa Cruz.

Love my Santa Cruz

I needed a vehicle that could tow 5,000 lbs but didn't want a huge truck. I had initially assumed I would get a Honda Ridgeline because I like the truncated bed style, and I was already a Honda customer. The Ridgeline was 10k more than the Santa Cruz and didn't have all of the features I wanted. After test driving both, I chose the Santa Cruz based on price, features, and driveability. It drives like a car and is extremely comfortable.

I waited a long time for Hyundai to release this truck

I will say, since I saw the concept some 8 years ago until now, Hyundai did not disappoint. Although the exterior styling is not exactly like the concept, I am still impressed with the overall look of this truck. I will definitely be purchasing another in the future.

Outstanding design with great color, but with some flaws

I was attracted to the Santa Cruz because of the great looking style. The idea of this vehicle being a SUV with a short truck bed is a good description. While it does not yet come with a hybrid, I did get the top trim line (Limited) that includes a turbo engine (along with many other nice features).

Great Vehicle except…

I am very happy with the vehicle after only 30 days or so…the looks, performance and fuel economy are exactly what I expected…I am having an issue now with chipping finish on the smoked chrome front grill but I have begun a claim with my dealership so we’ll see where this goes

Perfect truck,/suv

I am honestly impressed in this vehicle. I absolutely love mine. Beautuful color, interior is exceptional, a pure pleasure to drive. It drives like an suv with the power of a truck. Perfect for adventure outings, beach trips or just trips shopping. Plenty of room for supplies or shopping purchases love the bed cover espically the locking feature. Oh yea the storage compartnent in the bed you can use as a cooler. Love my truck

Excellent vehicle.combines a car and a truck without a frame and rigid rear axle of other similar trucks.drives like a car,but with the practicality of a truck when needed.averages 26mpg in city or traffic and I can get as much as 30mpg in hwy on regular fuel.dynamics are of a car.feels.safe and well planted.with the plus of the unique looks that makes people ask you what is it. Compares to the Maverick from Ford is miles head .I wish hyundai will.make it hybrid like the Tucson in a near future.

I bought my Santa Cruz because because I love them.It rides great and it is very versatile I have hauled stuff in it.Taken it on tripes.It is a great vehicle for city or country driving and it is fun mon tripes to the mountains.I LOVE this vehicle.

Nice ride, fun to drive and looks good.

I like the Santa Cruz for its looks and drivability. Its size is perfect for trips to the lumber yard or hardware store. Looks great, I get lots of compliments from friends and strangers. It has a nice smooth ride for a “truck”.

Good vehicle so far

Have only had for short time. So far all is good. I may update after I have owned the vehicle for a longer period. I have had it for about 1 month. I am still learning all of the features. The infotainment system is a lot to learn.

Love my new Santa Cruz. Interior design is beautiful, exterior design is sporty and an eye turner. Love the acceleration with the turbo, best I've ever had. I enjoy the truck bed and love how it keeps every thing dry and locked up when out and about.

Great, if you don't need it serviced.

I wanted something with utility, but I didn't want the cookie cutter truck, SUV, or Sedan. The Santa Cruz certainly isn't cookie cutter. If you don't need a truck for hauling anything other than air, the Santa Cruz is a good choice, but the leg-room in the back and the 1980's style adjustability of the front passenger seat is annoying. But since I am normally the only one in my Santa Cruz, those limitations aren't bad for me. The problem, at least for me, is getting your vehicle serviced. I have been trying to get ahold of the service department (calls, emails, website) for over 3 weeks and I can not get a human to talk with me. When I call, the phone rings 5 times, then it hangs up on me. Every. Single. Time.

Friendly and perfect

Went to the dealership on a Sunday seen the Santa Cruz and was very interested in it. Then we went and came in and found out what they would give us for a trade and that was a reasonable amount. We sat down and discuss details. Purchased a car and everything is great.
