2023 Santa Cruz Limited

3 weeks old/ 700 miles: Great salesman and good dealership experience. Very happy with vehicle. Impressively smooth, quiet ride. Love all the cameras. Use them every day. Great sound system & NAV. Great safety, without being intrusive to driving. I'm 6'4" and very comfortable. Really have to offer some better paint options. All but the white are faded, dull and do not compliment all the flat black trim. Limited wheels are the only choice. Some reds, yellows, metallics are needed. Hyundai has some beautiful blues and other colors. The black interior is very nice, but how about some nice red, saddle or other options. Dual exhaust tailpipes? Limited shouldn't need phone cable. Hyundai self parking? Definitely an attention getter. How about removable targa or t-tops? How about a sporty coupe, convertible or even sedan off this raised SAV platform? Great warranty!

Santa Cruz exceeded my expectations

I selected the Santa Cruz for its smaller size and functionality. However, I really appreciate the overall high quality of the vehicle. This does not ride like a truck at all - it is very smooth and comfortable. I can't wait to take this on long driving trips. The interior is quiet, the seats are comfortable and the engine/transmission work effortlessly together. And the styling is drop-dead gorgeous and a 10year powertrain warranty.

The only two problems that I found so far with 2000 miles on it are first as you start to takeoff it hesitates a little and then everything is normal second the windshield wipers. If you get ice on your windshield you can’t lift them up to get the ice off they hit the hood piss poor design.

As close to perfect vehicle that is currently available today.

Very unique design. The smoothest and quietest truck I’ve driven. Exceptionally comfortable leather seats. The turbo engine is quick and makes it a blast to drive in the city or the highway. The AWD system works great in ice/snow (especially in snow mode). Back seat is roomier than I expected.

Excellent performance after 1000 miles

Santa Cruz provides an exceptionally smooth ride, with easy to integrate tech. The controls are easy to navigate. The trunk has lots of features that give it the ability to perform many of the tasks larger pickups do. My only drawback is the gas mileage does not come close to the Ford Maverick's hybrid.

Amazing vehicle!

I love this vehicle! Drives smooth, turbo is amazing! Great features, looks great! Love the blue link app and capabilities. Love that I can lock car from anywhere. Great leg room for from and back seat. Plenty of storage.

Happy with a ‘23 SC. Need time to test durability.

Love my new ‘23 Santa Cruz SE Premium. Its design and features fit my family’s needs exactly. As a manufacturing engineer, I am very aware of form, fit and function and this truck is a level above the competition. The design is unique. It’s feels solid. Interior noise is surprisingly low, even with the roof rack mounted. Handles like a car. The front grill material and design is mo only concern. Time will tell on durability of all components, thus the four star rating and the 9 for recommending completely, however, I highly recommend this class of truck. I am encouraged by Hyundai constantly seeking feedback and striving to improve the quality. I’d be willing to be a reliable and honest checkpoint for continued feedback and ideas for improvement. Hyundai, please dominate this market!

Nice Little Pickup Truck

The truck drives like a car which makes it fun. The technology is awesome specially with the bluelink and safety features and it's unique looks make it a head turner. Plenty of room in the bed to haul some stuff and extra cargo trunk definitely a plus.

Fits our needs

The Santa Cruz is very comfortable and is great on long rides. Can easily do 800 miles in a day. Seats, head room and leg room for the front seats are good. Back seat could use a little more leg room but it is a small truck. It would be nice if the front passenger seat were powered. Storage is good but always could be better.

Don’t Buy from Athens Dealership

Dealership in Athens GA is terrible. Car is great. Buy from another dealership. Signed contract for one price and get a different price from Hyundai Finance. Also have the 90 day delay payment and they invoiced me immediately. General Manager said he would call me back and he never did.

Great Truck, very pleased with the comfort of driving it. Love the automatic tail gate. Has all the bells and whistles you need on it. Would highly recommend if looking for a smaller truck. Automatic bed cover.

Good All Around Vehicle

The Santa Cruz to me at least is a combination car and small truck with the benefit of better gas mileage. The bed has room for my usual stuff needed for household stuff like potting soil and small boxes without the gas guzzling you get from a bigger truck and the car has enough room in the front at lease to be comfortable when going on long trips. The back seats are a cramped but I haven't had anyone use them yet. The Santa Cruz is a good choice for someone who likes something in a jack of all trades without paying an arm and a leg.

Had I know at the time of purchase,I would bought 2.5t

Ok I'm satisfied with my Santa Cruz, haven't taken it on a long ride,I must admit the vehicle is too advance for a car guy 65yrs old , (too much technology) lol ?,I would recommend that the door for the bed should swing open,to make room for longer objects to lift or extend, make a rear spare tire on to swing door thus making deeper /more space for hidden compartment..
