I moved South and needed a truck...

...and I didn't want just any truck. I'm from NYC, where a small car is a value. This truck is so much fun. Roomy, good highway mileage. I wish it were a hybrid.

Great vehicle for everyday use

I have zero complaints with the styling, accessories, engine performance and standard features.....however, the dual clutch transmission sucks......period. There is no redeeming value in the hunk of crap.....I would love nothing more than for Hyundai to offer to replace this crap box with a standard 8 speed transmission. Waiting 2-3 seconds for the thing to decide it is going to proceed is stupid. Well, I'm stuck with it for right now.....not really sure what to do in the coming years when this thing finally takes a crap on me......most likely it will happen as I am climbing Jerico mountain in Tennessee.

Overpriced and under delivers

Cheap materials. Poor construction quality. Car won't hold up to time 3 yrs and less than 20k. I baby this thing because it's so cheaply made Terrible gas mileage.

My first truck

I was skeptical at first because I love my car I was driving. I immediately fell in love with the Santa Cruz during the test drive. This is definitely a Woman's truck. The fit is perfect. The view is perfect. The features are made for a woman and I highly recommend it.

Exceleration is tremendous. Also, I how well it is built with plenty of room front and back. I think the back cover is a benefit for storage and keeping items cover from rainy weather. Someday, hope The Santa Cruz will have a hybrid option.

Mechanical Issues

Considering the transmission failed at approximately 10k miles, I feel apprehensive about driving very far away from home.

Very comfy and love the tech

Seating and climate controls are great. Wish for a power rear window instead of the driver seat. Really, how much is this needs to be adjusted? And the tonneau cover takes a large footprint when collapsed.

Excellent vehicle

The Santa Cruz is easy to drive. I am short and the seats allow me to adjust them so I can see the road clearly. Great comfort, roomy and all around excellent vehicle. People stop me and want to look at it the truck and I am proud to show it off.
