Not happy

Not very happy with the Santa Cruz at alll. Thought would be a fun vechical to own. This my first purchase of the brand. I don’t think I would ever buy this brand again. The number of recalls are making me even feel worried about driving it.

found stone blue color went to Chantilly and bought it. Awesome car

going to the gas station with the Santa Cruz is like a Hyundai commercial, everyone wants to take a look at it. you would think Hyundai would have made more of them. Awesome Car. I highly recommend !!!

Wonderful small truck!

Purchased this base Santa Cruz a year ago as a second vehicle. Very pleased with the overall design and performance. Absolutely no issues during my first year of ownership. Availability was difficult at that time so it took a lot of research to locate a dealer who had one in inventory and sold at list price! Kudos to New Port Richey Hyundai as they were wonderful to deal with! My only regret in hindsight was that I didn’t move up to a more optioned model as the base lacked some features that I really could have used!

What Kind of Truck Is That?

The Santa Cruz attracts a lot of attention in parking lots! It attracts both men and women fo all ages. At first, I thought it was only appealing to younger guys but have found that not to be the case at all.

Love my Santa Cruz

Great vehicle. Love it. Performs well. Great look to it. The sound quality is very good. All of the added features such as lane departure, maintenance notifications, etc. are great as well. It even tells me when I leave my sunroof open. Which is definitely an added bonus!

Awesome vehicle!

It rides great. Drives great. It's comfortable. The fuel economy is not bad. It can handle itself in various weather conditions. The storage is just enough. The power it has is just enough. And it's pretty reliable and dependable so far.

Nice sport activity or is it sport adventure vehicle? I like it. Great for weekend warrior projects and for the person who isn't sure they need a giant full size truck. Must include the Turbo version. The added HP is worth the extra expense.

Drive by looking good

This vehicle fits me to a T. It is compact, but not too small. Gets good fuel mileage and looks good on me. It is good for short or long trips. I have owned many different kinds of trucks and I believe that this vehicle with all the safety features is a perfect vehicle for a older person to drive.

Great vehicle fun to drive very responsive

Some of the exterior parts are cheap quality non lasting specially the plastic trims fading already I wish I came up with painted trim parts rather than the cheap plastic the front Crome grill chips and the center console scratch easily just by cleaning

The Santa Cruz

Fun, good looking vehicle. Good fuel economy and some nice power. Safe to drive too. Cruzes down the road smooth and takes bumps with ease. Pretty good fuel economy if you remember to keep your foot out of the turbo! Nice interior design with great options on the premium package.

This is my first new vehicle ever. It's a great little truck that act's like a car, but isn't. It's fast and responsive, while hugging the corners. Great sound system with plenty of radio range. Great floor mats but I replaced with weather tech.

Love my Cruz

I get a lot of compliments from the driving public. Always get them when going through a drive thru. Everyone loves the paint color. My wife is going to use this color some where in our new house. Love AWD.

Everything you need for any road trip!

Perfect for day to day or take on the road! Santa Cruz gets great gas mileage in town or on the highways. You can rely on it all the time to ride like a car but handle like a truck. Best of both worlds. Used to haul appliances or take the family on a trip. Comfortable for all who enter. Young to old everyone has enjoyed the ride and had no issues with spacing or comfort.

Santa Cruz Review

No issues at 2200 miles. Naturally aspirated (non turbo) engine is very adequate with regard to acceleration and passing. I didn't want a turbo engine. Fuel economy average is 29.5 MPG with mostly city and some highway driving. This 2023 SEL replaced a 2001 Dodge Ram that averaged 13 MPGs. The bed size has been good for my recent needs, but I do have a factory installed trailer hitch and a 5' x 8' utility trailer if needed. I'll do an update later.
