Currently my New Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy has Transmission failure

When I was driving on main highway with 50mph the car lost acceleration power and came to a standstill in middle of the highway, I had to tow it to the dealer and later on got to know that the car faced transmission failure with 2720 miles on it, apart from that it is a good car and I really liked it a lot.

Great vehicle, a serious saftey issue yet to be solved

I bought the vehicle in late April, 2026. The features are great, the ride is terrific. I have had a problem with hesitation when making turns from a stop. The gas pedal sometimes goes to the floor, and nothing happens; Pretty scary when you're making a left and turn into traffic. It has now been to the dealer 3 times (total of 14 days) and they have been unable to determine the cause, or find a fix.

A high-tech vehicle, good quality throughout, under powered, smooth transmission, quiet, comfortable ride, technology not intuitive, complicated navigation, dangerous cruise control without manual override, outstanding styling, average economy with gas engine, good, optional use driver safety and assist functions, good 360 cameras and rear view mirror.

This SUV is built solid with an attention to detail. The Palisade get great gas mileage and has a good amount of pickup. Roomy too!

First time Hyundai owner.

We purchased vehicle in Mid April of 2026. We love the Palisade. Only two complaints. We were required to purchase a Karr security system, for a $1,000.00. Adds no real value to the car. It is helpful only to the dealer to monitor and tract vehicle when its on their lot. The driver seat back cover ( access panel) came loose all by itself. Dealer said may have been a problem from factory. The two clips that hold it in place were broken. they needed to order a whole new cover, minimum 10 working days to get. And another week to reschedule installation. We can't use that seat behind the driver for access or seating. All the electrical is exposed. Still waiting for dealer to let us know that replacement part was received.

Luxury Quality with stripped features

I bought this SUV with perfect characteristics, may it be exterior, interior and features. However, with the current recall about the removal of features for the folding seats for the 3rd, this makes it worse than other vehicles. It cripples the ability of the car for which owners have fell in love with. They should have at least gave an option to the user if they want the feature or not.. Nevertheless, this car looks luxury car with all the bells and whistle. The smell of napa leather gave an awe to anyone riding it. So quiet ride.

2026 Palisade Hybrid Review

Outstanding vehicle, dealer prep could use some work. Multiple protective covers left installed throughout the car. Car was advertised as in stock and ready to go. We drove 1 1/2 hours to purchase the car and was told that the recall software updates had not been done and it would be 2 days before they could deliver the car to us. Upon receipt, we discovered that the only way to start the vehicle was to place the keys in the cup holder. In addition none of the other remote features were working correctly. They had to replace a controller computer which required another long trip to the dealer. Since they performed the recall work on the vehicle prior to delivery, that had to have realized that the only way to move the vehicle was to place the keys in the cup holder. In addition, they drove the vehicle to us so they would have noticed it then as well. Vehicle has been great since that time.

There's No Spare Tire

Great car, no spare tire, and 21" tires are unavailable to get for two+ days. So if you get a blowout, you're without a car and tire for 3 days. You have to be towed, and if you're in the middle of nowhere, it's really difficult. Hyundai should have given more thought to the hybrid having a spare tire and also not putting it underneath the car. I had a heavy set tow company person come to tow me. There would have been no way he could have gotten under the car. Put the spare tire in the trunk! I traded the brand new car because of this! I'm disappointed that I had to, but I felt like I could not carry a full size 21" tire around in my trunk all the time. It would have used up the whole space in the back. Please redesign this vehicle.

Thank you for your feedback. Spare tires add to production cost; the Tire Mobility Kit offers a lighter, more cost-effective alternative. Removing a spare tire reduces unsprung weight and improves fuel economy, which is a selling point for hybrid vehicles. ^cc

Couldn't love this car more!

I spent over a year looking and researching hybrid 3rd row vehicles. I had an Atlas at the time, and was patiently wiatining for them to realease their hybrid model. I was dissapointed to learn it was not coming out in 2026 which led me on a new search, to discover the new Hybrid palisade. Wow, instantly impressed. I had never had a Hyundai before and was imediately blown away just from the online images. My husband has a range rover, and I can see a lot of similar body shapes that we both love. I went to go check them out in April , after they were shortly realsed, test drove, and immediately was sold. It has such bells and whisltes, feels extremely luxury, and the gas mileage is fantastic. I live in Los Angeles, and do a ton of driving for work, so I neeed a car that could haul, hold a lot of my materials, and also be chic and flirt with a luxury car. This hit every point. 10/10 would buy again, I am a converted Hyundai driver.
