All around great vehicle

The car is phenomenal. We had a 2020 palisade Limited before this and absolutely loved it. But this car is an improvement in many areas.

Good but needs more checks

The car seems to be a good improvement and much needed Hybrid powertrain but the QC has gone down hill, something like a basic seat check was missed leading to an unfortunate event. And recalls after recalls for a car that is not even 6 months old

Nice to have it!

I bought Palisade 2026 Hybrid 8P Sel. Overall, it's nice and comfortable car however, I found few shortcomings as given below - 1. It easily gets dings with slightest door scratch. I didn't find this problem in Hondas and Toyotas. 2. Despite high cost of car, it doesn't even has a basic feature of recording the dashcams. It doesn't make sense for me to have another external dashcam for recording despite so many inbuilt cameras and sensors. This is really pissing me. 3. If you are cruising on turn, it detects another vehicle on a different lane and suddenly applies brakes. It is very dangerous and needs to be fixed. 4. Despite hybrid car, it is not giving me really a spellbound fuel saving. 5. When you turn-ON indicator, it starts displaying side of the car on dash screen but steering and arms blocks the view.

so far so good, better than my expectations

it's a little premature to give a real review, having only hit just 2500 miles. We have done one road-trip of roughly 1400 miles total, mostly I90 between MA & OH. Good weather and generally light traffic in both directions. We found the sweet spot to be between 68 and 72 MPH to max fuel economy in our 2024 Calligraphy Hybrid hitting a few tics above 31 mpg. The the best fuel economy is in the 45-55 country road environment where the indicated consumption was in the high 30 to low 40 mpg range. The combined electric and gas engine power is very reassuring getting up to speed quickly and merging. I've heard mixed reviews about seat comfort but from my experience I'd have to say only the Hunchback of Notre Dame could have a problem with the seats. It's comfortable and quiet, serene even.

Poor customer care

Recalls deletes automatic seat folding options which i paid to purchase. Need reimbursement.

Battery was dead twice within a month. I spent hours and days going to dealer to fix this. I don't know how reliable it is going to be. It makes a sqeaky noise every time i start and it stays for several minutes and throughout the drive. My phone has a case and it does not fit in the wireless slot. I don't know who designed this small narrow slot for phones. Almost everybody has phone case. It looks like when engineers designed it , they put a iphone or samsung phone without a case. Gas mileage is not what is on the sticker. It hardly gives 26 MPG and not 33-34 as was written on sticker. I actually want to exchange this for another car. I request Hyundai to take this car back and provide me another one. Please . I will be happy . I was one of the first ones to own 2020 Hyundai palisade when it came out in the market. That one is having some transmission issues and jerking while driving.

2 Months in and Really Enjoying our new Palisade

The vehicle is still 'new' for us only having it 2 months and I'm still exploring all the features so there's a learning curve as I've not tested / utilized everything. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the build. I drove a Mercedes GL previously and the Palisade is just as tightly constructed and solid to drive. Creature comforts abound and thoughtful additions, such as passenger seat positioning controls accessible to the driver and rear passengers, and the abundance of charging outlets too. Some minor control things I'd recommend be considered. For example, when the radio is muted, it should remain muted after the vehicle is stopped / restarted. And the lane changing assist is very cool, albeit abrupt in it's movement and does not like to be assisted. A more gentle gliding from one lane to another and if there is driver intervention, I'm not 'yelled' at by the vehicle. Another silly thing is to have an 'unlock' all doors option from the tailgate area (or when the tailgate is opened) Many times I need to unlock the doors so passengers may access seating prior to opening the tailgate for storage purposes.
