I am extremely dissatisfied with my Hyundai Palisade due to ongoing reliability and safety concerns. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had to take it back to the dealership approximately 6–7 times, primarily a recurring issue with the 12V battery continuously discharging. This problem has not only been inconvenient but also raises serious safety concerns, as the vehicle has failed to start on multiple occasions. Despite repeated visits, the issue remains unresolved, which is both frustrating and unacceptable for a vehicle in this price range. I expected a higher level of quality and dependability, but my experience has been the opposite. At this point, I have lost confidence in the vehicle and would not recommend it based on my experience.

Should not have bought a first-year model.

I really wanted to like this car, but I'm losing enthusiasm for it by the day. It's very stylish and makes a very good first impression on the test drive. Gas mileage is a little lower than expected but not a deal-breaker. The seat fix for the recall is awful, and Hyundai needs to fix their fix; the second row button for 3rd row access is now confusing and useless, and graying out but not removing the seat-folding options in the infotainment screen is obnoxious and just reminds buyers what they bought but no longer have. The dash rattles when the ambient temperature is between 45 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit, which unfortunately for me is a large portion of the year where I live. I already know the dealership isn't going to fix that under warranty, and I'm afraid of letting them tear the dash apart on my own dime, lest they introduce more rattles or disconnect a wiring harness. I don't even have 2500 miles on the car yet, so developing a rattle so soon is disappointing. I may take it to a body shop and see if they can fix it. Under brisk acceleration the transmission tends to hesitate and lurch between gears. I think it's just working as designed, but it reminds me of driving a 1980's Chevy van. If you drive it slow with <1/4 throttle, it's very smooth. The HDA system feels like a step down from the drive assist in my Kia Stinger, particularly the lane centering; the Palisade wants to hug the left of the lane much too close for comfort, and I'm constantly fighting the system when it's active which makes highway trips unnecessarily tiring. The LKAS in my MY2019 Kia Stinger did a notably better job of centering the car and following the lane than this MY2026 Palisade does. I bought the dynamic welcome light patterns from the BlueLink store, and after taking 2 weeks to install, they don't work right, and Hyundai support says that's my problem and will neither fix it nor refund me. It's only $50, but Hyundai's handling of the whole thing has left me with a taste of what it's going to be like when I need warranty work, which also tells me I need to get rid of this thing before that happens. If Hyundai either fixed or refunded my BlueLink purchase, fixed their seat recall so it's less obnoxious, and issued a calibration update for HDA to properly center the car in the lane, I'd be pretty happy with the car. That said, I don't see Hyundai going out of their way to fix the issues this car has now that they have my money. My advice to would-be Palisade buyers is to wait a couple of years for Hyundai to work the bugs out; this car isn't fully baked yet.

Excellent features, layout and comfort. MPG less than advertised. Driver's seat massage is nice however when off seat not super comfortable. Center console sterilization feature more a gimmick than functional as who wants to empty the console to use it.

So far it exceeds my expectations.....

While I only have 2500 miles on the car, I've taken it on some long, multi-day road trips. On trips of meaningful distance, I've averaged between 33-36 MPG, depending on the speed limit of the highways I'm driving on. 65-70 MPH seems to be the sweet spot for best fuel economy. Ride comfort is excellent. Handling is very good - my advice is to try it first with driver assist and then change settings to your liking - I found some of the assist modes to be too intrusive for me. Interior noise levels are excellent - very low. We went with a mid-level of features, and it works great for us. We enjoy many of the new features the car offers, such as Auto Hold at stop lights. Space for driver and passengers is excellent. Visibility when driving is very good. This is my first hybrid vehicle, and I love how short runs to the grocery store etc. can be done entirely in electric mode. The transition between gas and electric power is undetectable other than engine noise. Bottom line: We're very pleased with our purchase - this is a great vehicle!

Biggest complaint about the car is the unlocking of the door when you

The car will NOT unlock if you re wearing gloves and sometimes without gloves on as well. It will also NOT let me push the heating steering or heated seat buttons with gloves on I also hate that there is a camera on my face. when I am holding steering wheel a certain way and my arm blocks camera.

Luxury SUV at a reasonable price.

The comfort seating is incredible and getting a massage while driving is wonderful. The passenger talk feature is fantastic, but doesn't pick up the voice of the front passenger. The cameras work well. I like being able to use the rear camera in the rear view mirror. However, the hybrid is not much better than strictly gas and there is no way to manually charge the battery even though I have solar energy at home. The exterior is boring, although the lights are unique. Getting recalls with no fixes weeks after purchasing is certainly a turn-off. Overall, the luxury features outshine the negatives and I'm loving it so far.

Nice car, but issues.

I don’t need all the bells and whistles in a car. Beautiful car, but it has issues. They aren’t ones you can ignore. Only one cell pad. It only works if nothing on the phone. No outlet for Apple phone. Had to buy a 12v adapter. Only 2 months in and a recall.

Luxurious but could be better

Luxury vehicle at domestic price point. Has all the bells and whistles you could ask for except a spare tire. Recommend providing spare tire, $65k fully loaded luxury car that doesn't come with a spare tire, not convenient at all.
