Great car!

Most everything I was looking for comes with my Kona. There are a few things I'm not happy with. The first issue is every time I start the car I have to confirm that I'll not look at the message but will look at the road. This is redundant and since I am the only driver don't see why my confirmation can't be attached to my profile. I'm in and out of the car 5 - 10 times on a given day and this confirm every time is a real pain. Gotta love lawyers who have no business building vehicles! The other issue is the size of the back trunk area. It's quite a bit small than my Elantra Touring but I've learned to adjust. Lastly I wish the rear lift gate was power open/close since I'm so short.

My experience with my Kona is excellent. I have no complaints.

I enjoy the size of my Kona. Everything is in easy reach for me. I love the extended trunk space. It drives and handles wonderfully for me. I only wish it had a sun roof, and tinted glass. Period.

Fun car

My Kona rides pretty smooth. The gas milage is great. I love that the back seats fold down so when I need to put something in the back that is larger. I think overall, the Kona is a great car. It's small enough for me yet large enough to have a few passengers.

Great commuter car and nice for road trips.

I’m happy with my choice. I wanted a car that got good mileage and had a nice info-tainment system. And I got it. It’s fun to drive and has decent amount of power. I would recommend this car to anyone needed a better than basic car.

Great value for features offered. Customer service and communication from manufacturer is superior. General driver experience has been very good especially in winter weather. This vehicle meets all my needs.

It is very nice compact car i enjoy mine the only problem is the engine splash guard is plastic and broke really easy . Other than that i love my car great on gas.i get great gas mileage and love all the features

Love my Hyundai better then other cars

Wanted to reduce the size of my vehicle in our garage as the tucson when opening the rear hatch would be in the way of the garage door. The Kona allows me to park in our garage close the garage door and open the tailgate to work on whatever i need to get out of the rear area. Sort of a simplistic reason but I need access to the rear often ergo it works for me

The Kona is a great buy.

Rides great. Handles great. I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a reliable automobile. It is priced very reasonably. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that it is very noisy when the window is open.

Low confidence vehicle quality

Poor paint quality, chips easily. Because of this, I am afraid to have it washed at an automatic car wash, that means I have to always hand wash it so I can prolong the paint. Also, can’t drive it anywhere where there is small gravel or dust. That means I can’t utilize the AWD and have fun with the my Vehicle that I waited so long to have. Now, just found out that there is a Dangerous pressed paper fiber undercarriage dust cover that would potentially create a safety hazard! It could tear off and get caught in the wheels or come off and hit someone else’s car, causing them to have a an accident. Plastic parts of the interior scratch easily. I am basing my comparison from two other past Hyundai’s I owned, they both seemed to be great quality. I am now questioning the quality of everything else on the Kona. I am only waiting to get rid of it, I am so sad.

Easy to drive and park. Good sight lines. Good value for the price. Having difficulty with keyless entry working with replacement key fob. No solution for this issue after 4 months. Otherwise, we have had no issues with the SUV.

I bought this car new, trading in my Toyota Carola. It drives nice and the driving sensers are nice to have. It has more power than the Carola, witch I really like. However, it doesn't have allot of power, it's just better than the Carola. It has 15,000 miles on it now and the check engine light came on say that there's a transmission issue. I took it to the dealer, but the light went out on it's own and the dealer said that they couldn't do anything unless the light was still on. I don't like that...

Cute and awesome!

I purchased the 23 Kona for my wife. I had been asking her for years what kind of car she liked. Finally she said a Kona. The salesman listened to our list of preferred features and located the exact car we wanted at another lot. The car was transferred to our nearby dealer and we took delivery. Best car buying experience ever. The all wheel drive is very impressive. It works seamlessly. The car handles like a sports car. I can start it with my phone to heat or cool the interior. It has an amazing number of features for not a huge price and the best warranty in the industry. I would absolutely buy another Hyundai.

First purchase with Hyundai. This vehicle was poorly manufactured. Fails quality checks

I experienced three major issues the first within month 1. The last has been ongoing for 9 months. The dealership is unable to fix the fuel issue. This vehicle has major difficulty filling gas. The nozzle clicks off consistently without the tank being full.

Servicing Vehicle

When I purchase this vehicle it included general servicing, i.e. oil change. At the time of purchase, I thought it was really a great feature. Well it’s not! Reason being that thousands of Hyundai owners have the same feature so getting a appoint for servicing is ridiculous.
