So late electric charges.. Can't use air-conditioner. Bcz use so many electric. And car instrument panel design is not good. And navigation screen is too small . And Car outdoor reer design is not good

Great handling, nimble and comfortable ride.

The handling of the EV Kona is very smooth and steady. The car is nimble. It has great pick up. The seats are very comfortable and the leg room is roomy. This is a great car for driving around town. The car can be plugged in at night to recharge. Recharging at night is very convenient. I really love this car!

Easy to drive and great range for EV

The Kona Electric is a easy to drive and affordable EV option for those looking into purchasing an EV hatchback. The range is great for a compact SUV. The only drawback is the width of the trunk space. The trunk space is unable to fit a golf bag sideways and may be inconvenient for those who will need to continuously fold down the backseat. Other than that the Kona Electric is a fun car to drive.

Overall we’re very happy with this vehicle. This is our Second EV purchase ever. Love the range, appearance and Performance. Looking forward to eventually getting an Ioniq 5 or Ionic 6. Have had own 6 total Hyundai’s.

The non-assuming EV joy ride!

Comfortable, great handling, and stylish. More than reasonable cargo space for its size, and does well both in the city and on the highway. Safety features are standard and comparable to any other vehicle, EV or not. The interior is comfortable and well thought out with more room than you think. My tall family of four fit comfortably for both road trips and grocery runs. Overall this is a solid and enjoyable EV!

High hopes for this vehicle but safety measures trigger erroneously and I have taken it to the shop multiple times for the same issue which is not resolved. The vehicle is great in all other ways- but these errors make it un driveable

Battery problems within the first 200 miles of driving.

My car has been in for a battery replacement for 3 weeks after I had owned it for 2 weeks. Still don't have my new car back and am having to pay for gas which I haven't done in over 4 years as I only drive electric cars. Also They skimped on a few features which was disappointing.

The VESS sound is quite annoying

This EV has many physical buttons/switches, which is much safer to operate, compared to fumbling through on some monitor screens. It is really bad that today's EVs have fewer buttons/switchers but with much higher prices. The navigation screen is mounted high, which makes it easy to see while driving The pitch of the virtual engine sound VESS goes up as the car takes speed, and this is very annoying. At 15mph, the VESS sound is very unpleasant to ears.

Overall a great car.

Hyundai thought of everything to make this a great car. Solidly built with all the safety features. Comfortable and fun to drive. The exterior is very stylish and the paint finish is very well done.

Car needs improvement

The car is cheapest EV, beautiful exterior design. There is No tax credit in the US, engine is noisy, cheap quality interior, bad phone integration, bad battery quality (had to replace). Fixing the car by warranty was a bad experience. There is very little customer service, nobody cares or help the customer.

Great Electric

With a couple of weeks of driving our new car, we thoroughly enjoy it. It's just the right size for us older couple, not a lot of room in the back seats but we don't usually have any passengers. Great controls, navigation, and safety features. Very drivable and a lot of pep for the electric engine.

Great vehicle, but.....

Bought the Kona in November 2022. By the end of December, the 12V battery -- not the big one, but the one that runs lights and, more importantly, locks and starts the car -- was dead. Called Hyundai and the soonest they could get us in was 2 months later. And then they kept the car for two days and, while extremely rushed and incredibly overworked, basically didn't give me any answers as to what might be causing the problem other than "delete apps off your phone that's hooked up to the car."

Can't go wrong with the Kona!

I'm a recent owner of a Kona EV, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I really like how the car drives and handles, it does well in the snow/icy conditions, and I love all the safety features. I've previously been a Toyota owner, but when it comes time to replace the Kona, I will definitely consider another Hyundai vehicle.

Excelent EV, plenty of range, fun to drive.

Having owned a first gen nissan leaf, this car is really nice, has pretty much all the interior tech you may need, it's quick, and even on cold days, it's range is aligned with the advertised range.

Nice small suv fully loaded with great features. Only issue is the loss of vehicle range when you are using the climate system. If that was less of an impact the car would be very highly rated because mostly everything else is top level.

Great Value Proposition

Great value for the money on the lower end of the electric car spectrum. Hyundai has done well allocating the build budget where it counts the most. This is a fun car to drive in the city and on short trips. External styling that is both familiar and different, should appeal to fans of both small hatchbacks and CUV's. Internal space is a bit tight but it is functional. Very easy to drive and great safety appointments. Infotainment is both robust and easy to use + should hold up well in the future with many modern features. Also nice to see some interesting colorways being offered other than the mundane black/white/gray.

it is a computer which is not at all intuitive and is has entirely too many levels to achieve results. i have only had it for a month but am constantly frustrated as i am reasonable good at this stuff.
