12V Hurts This Vehicle

The 12v system has no dedicated battery, and can fail to respond at times. The 12V reset button in the interior of the vehicle, next to the steering wheel, must be used when this happened. Overall the car drives and feels great to drive. The efficiency is good but could be better, and I've rarely seen the EV battery go above 60%.

It’s fine

I’m very happy with my Ioniq! I loved my Scarlet Red 2017 sonata Sport with only 31,000 miles on it. But some jerk rearended me and total it! I took it to the Hatchett Hyundai Body Shop the next day, saw the Ioniq that Wednesday, December 9th, returned on Saturday, December 12th and purchased it! Didn’t realize the liftback would be so hard for me to open and close or I’d have gotten another Sonata.

Amazing fuel economy!

We honestly love the Hyundai Ionic. When we were shopping for a fuel efficient vehicle for me to commute to work, we did not think a hybrid was within our price range. When we visited the Hyundai dealership we found the Ionic. I was completely unfamiliar with the Ionic, but knew Hyundai had a good reputation as a automaker. We are so very please with this car. I cannot say enough positive things about the Hyundai Ionic. It is the best car I have ever purchased.

Great value

Good choice for someone looking for value (price, 50+mpg, reliability, dealership), good styling and many bells and whistles. Friends highly recommended Hyundai, not knowing about the Ioniq model. Easy to drive and park.

Lies on fuel mileage.

You’ll never get the actual fuel mileage they advertise on this car. Unfortunately that was why I purchased the vehicle. Everything else is amazing about this car. Hyundai just doesn’t know how to get more than 38-48 MPG on a 55-59 MPG vehicle as advertised.

Very satisfied

Owned for 3 months, so far so great! Car is comfortable to drive, not too soft or harsh. Engine is very quiet. I can usually manipulate throttle to switch to electric to optimize MPG. So far, overall MPG average is 52mpg with 85% economy driving. Even though a hatch, the car feels like a midsize sedan in size. Feels sturdy, much more secure road handling than my prior 2016 Elantra.

1 year review on my 2020 IONIQ

I traded in a 2018 Elantra for this 2020 IONIQ. What an improvement, this car rides awesome. Cabin noise is very low. The info center with apple carplay is flawless. The backup camera is very clear and can see behind the excellent. This Hybrid engine setup is perfectly balanced, car has plenty of power for the highway and is very efficient in town. I drive 140 miles a day to work and I get 55 MPG on the highway, in town driving I get up to 65-70 MPG. My next vehicle will be another IONIQ or the new Sante Fe pickup in hybrid. I recommend any Hyandai you pick these vehicle line ups are perfect with amenities and are not over priced.

Love the gas mileage. The car handles well and is not a large vehicle.

Very happy with my car the gas mileage is great very pleased it is a hybrid don’t have to stop and wait longer to get it refueled as with all electric car the car is handling well it it is also a smaller car and because I am a older women it is easier to get in and out of

Nice Vehicle for the price !

This vehicle has a lot of potential, however the interior looks and feels cheap. Very plastic everything, not good finishes in the interior of the vehicle. I think for the price, the car should have a better feel of the interior.

Fuel mileage

Gets 60 miles to the gallon, depending on how you drive. Is very quite and smooth ride. Uses Google maps through your phone as navigation, so it is always up to date. You can listen to you tube sites, so pretty handy.

Smooth and stylish

Car is phenomenal. Rides smooth, looks good and best of all…. Saves me lots of money. Comes with cool updates features. Few things I wish it had was AWD, a rear wiper and a automatic trunk. But hey, looks way better then it’s competitors.

Fantastic Car, Horrible Company

I absolutely love this car. Well, mostly. I bought a Blue 2020 Ioniq Blue, this was our fourth Hyundai in 25 years. It drove great, handled great, got fantastic fuel mileage. Typically mid 60's. Sadly, it came with a respiratory irritant that led to spending 6 month fighting with Hyundai (who denied any issues). Finally a co-worker from down south said "Flood Car" and so did the service manager at the other local dealership (as he said "Can't help you, go back to the other dealer"). This sent me to buy a laboratory mold kit ($45 at any hardware store). Two weeks and one positive test later...the car was replaced with a red one. I did not want a red car, but I also did not want a car with Mold, so compromises.

Love my Hyundai!

Great car, great value, great dealership, Mike is a great salesman. Great service department. Even the loan guy was good, very funny guy but professional and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know.

Nice car, great on gas

Car is really good on gas and functions well. The car is pretty comfortable and served well for me. While the car isn’t that fun to drive it serves its purpose as a reliable car that gets you from point A to point B.

Best value small/mid size car on the market.

Vehicles has excellent fuel economy and the with an amazing package of safety features plus Car Play in the base model. This car is one of the best values on the market. Car is also very roomy for its size and class.

Great car!

We love the car because it is a hybrid; we’re just waiting to get 50 miles to the gallon. We are extremely happy with our purchase and the dealership. The only thing I can say is that I don’t fully understand the Bluetooth system. Other than that, extremely happy.

Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is a great car. I love the amenities it came with. It is comfortable and fuel efficient. I love the driver assist feature and the very nice backup camera. Also the blind spot warning is amazing!

55 mpg

I have the Hybrid version of this car. I consistently get between 52 and 55 MPG tank after tank. The interior styling and technology equipment is great and much nicer than other cars in the price range. Hands down this is the best choice for small Hybrid vehicles. With the seats all the way back the front leg room is massive. We have a full size SUV that has less front leg space than the Ioniq.

Great car

This is my second ionic. For the price I got all the features I wanted. Only thing missing is air conditioned seats. I like the blue light on the dash. It compliments the color. I think the sun roof should have a tilt feature
