Love the car but had the ICCU fail at appx 12000 mile

Had to be towed to the nearest dealer.Was at the dealers for a month. After a week they got us a loaner . Other than that we love the car. Just a little less confident on the reliability.

Could be great car, but certain decisions cheapen value proposition

Ride, performance, range, and handling are excellent. Minor items that detract from value are a navigation system that does not upgrade, limited options for controlling the unlocking behavior of the doors, heated seats are great, but no heated steering wheel without buying unnecessary extras, and major problem, is the poor design of the ICCU unit leading to consistent failures. Dealers in rural areas are not all electrified and therefore a failure of the ICCU meeting may mean a 100 mile tow in my situation. I can live with this, but it is a deal breaker for my spouse.

Not worth it in 2026

Drives great, very comfortable interior. Plug in Android system is extremely finicky leading to a poor daily experience (wired connection not stable leading to Android Auto displaying/not displaying throughout a car ride), system updates are not automatically pushed to vehicles all of the time (and once led to having to purchase an external usb drive, downloading the updates, and then plugging the usb drive into the car to get the new updates), and finally a promised adapter for charging to work with Tesla superchargers has never materialized over 1.5 years after promised due to supply chain issues.

Falls short of expectations

- car beeps at literally everything. The sensor sensitivity is disruptive to the driver - the touch screen would not work on occasion Biggest pain for me is the fact that the car does not auto lock when you walk away from the vehicle after driving - YET it auto unlocks and locks if you walk up to it and walk away from it without driving it. INCREDIBLY lazy coding by your team. - the mobile app sucks. If I lock the car from the mobile app, it has to go through a “lock request” - ???? My Tesla does this instantly. - I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been sent a notice about a recall that requires me to take the car to a dealer to get fixed. I NEVER had this issue with our Tesla.

Over all I like the vehicle. Acceleration is great. Fit and finish leaves me wondering about quality control. Windshield has hundreds of small pits which only show when the sun is at a specific angle. Also, at certain angles fine cross hatches are visible in the glass.

Tesla/Porche-esk Mixer

Exterior look that challenges Tesla and a minimalists' dream interior. Performance that gets you onto the highway from 0 very well, but lacking in the 60+ zip needed to get around touchy situations. For my first EV, I have no major complaints. This fit this bill for what I needed and an introduction in that world.

Great Car With A Few Issues

The car feels somewhere between sporty & luxury. It's a pleasure to drive over 5 MPH. Under 5 MPH the front sensors are worse then useless. They're constantly going off for no reason when in reverse, and pull out of a standard size space like a parking spot. The other main issue happens when in reverse and using the brakes. The brake lights almost completely obscures the view from the rear camera. The last issue is specific to the SE trim. The front seats have very limited back support. On the positive side, the car is very quiet and the exterior styling looks cool.

Easy to Love this Car!

It is easy to love the Ioniq 6! I am currently getting over 425 city miles on one 15 charge. I drive over 2 hours a day and my car is so quiet and affordable. Imagine not needing oil changes. The car has lots of nice automatic features. I’ve gotten lots of compliments and now my neighbor bought one based on my feedback, and he loves his.

What a great car!!! It drives smoothly. Is incredibly responsive. Interior very comfortable and pretty. Get compliments regularly for the exterior styling. Quick charging and longer range than most ~320 miles. Reall a pleasure and a great car

The navigation system needed updating and dealer couldn’t do it and took them over 3 hrs to tell me my flash drive wasn’t fast enough only to find out needed a windows computer
