Great car!

I think it is a great car. It drives well, is comfortable, looks great and no more gas! My only minor criticism is that some of the electronic safety features are too sensitive. It periodically reminds me to keep my hands on the steering wheel while I am holding it, and more annoyingly, when I am stopped for red lights, it very often continues beeping and lighting up to warn me about (imagined) vehicles in front of or next to my car.

It's a 4* EV and would be a 5* for many

We purchased the Ioniq 6 and leased an Ioniq 5 at the same time. After several months or so the Ioniq 6 driver determined that they preferred the Ioniq 5. We returned the Ioniq 6 in favor of leasing a 2026 Ioniq 5. What was preferred: the Ioniq 5 is not a sedan. This has no effect on the 4*s or on what follows, the Ioniq 6 is a fine auto. Any 5's that follow mean "satisfactory"

A Nightmare

I am 83 years old, the car is ioniq 6 2025 SEL with only7000 miles I was on vacation, my sister and niece came to visit at where I was staying to celebrate my sister's birthdy. On the freeway suddenly the car started to move very slowly and big alarm showed on the screen "stop car! check power supply" ... nowhere to stop and I had to drive with cars behind me on the freeway ... to make story short , after few miles I stopped. pressed the SOS bu...tton and to be honest in less tham 1/2 hour triple A came and towed the car to : and that was the second dissapointment : to nearest Hyundai Dealer, and that was Laguna Niguel Hyundai... the rest of the day was a disaster... took Lyft to go back to the resort ..then my niece dropped me at the dealer.. I was told they will check and let me know...Ok, I said what next ? a rider till my car is fixed ... sorry, we don't have loaner/ rider... what ???? Plus how do I ho back to the resort ? It's your responsibility???? believe it or not that how I was treated? to be continued....

Issues From The Start

Within the first 1800 miles car has broken down twice with no diagnosable reason. Dealer has resorted to replacing random parts hoping it addresses whatever the issue is. Can’t wait to see if the ICCU goes out next. I’ve been to the dealer 5-6 times in the past 3 months now and every time there’s multiples of the Ioniqs lining the maintenance lot. I would avoid until Hyundai can get their quality control figured out.

Great car - bad iccu unit

I really love this car but my iccu unit died after 7000 miles. I did have a good repair story but honestly am worried it will fail again. Otherwise it is the best car ever

Great looking and smooth driving car with mechanical issues

I love driving this car as it is a very smooth ride with plenty of power to boot. I get a lot of compliments on how the car looks as well. The downside is the full charge distance you get when it’s warm is vastly different than when it’s cold. It does not get very much distance on a full charge when it’s cold. I have also had to have my ICCU unit replaced an a fuse blew just a couple days later that wasn’t allowing me to charge my car.

Best car I have ever owned.

The car is reasonably comfortable, very very fast, corners quite well, and seems to be made of good quality materials inside and out. The automatic features are a nice luxury. For example the car dehumidifies the air automatically when your windows start to fog up. The automatic switching from high beam headlights to low beam works very well. I also appreciate how the headlights turn on automatically as it starts to rain or if it gets slightly dark. The heat and cooling is distributed around the car well enough so you do not have cold feet when your face is super hot. The car rides very quietly with very low wind noise at speed. I could go on and on but this survey does not allow me to dictate and I hate to type. The only two issues I have had was the battery does not preheat so charging is very slow at temperatures below 65 degrees. I have not bothered to bring the car in to get it fixed yet. The other problem was the 12 volt battery. It did not hold a charge for very long so I replaced it with a lithium battery and that works great.

Lower quality than expected

Our dealer told us it would have the same features as our 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL. We discovered after purchase that it is missing several features, including the memory seat settings, no premium audio, and several others. Most disappointed in audio quality.

Interior color

Overall, the car is a beautiful car. I just don’t like the white interior. The ambient lights are wonderful. The safety features are great. I just don’t like the interior that is white. It’s easy to get dirty. If you don’t get it ceramic coating on the seats. They will get dirty very quick so you have get that to keep it protected, Hyundai does not offer that at the door. That’s basically the downside of the car.

Great drive and reliable

Love driving this car. It has excellent efficiency and handling. Only complaint would be thy I would like to be able to disable some features in the software like dual zone AC.
