It's a nice electric car, but there are some issues with owning one.

I like my new Hyundai Ioniq but it is a pain to charge the vehicle at public chargers. Hyundai was not forthcoming about their Electrify America free charging program. They made it sound completely free but in fact there are a lot of issues that surround it. It takes a very long time to charge and it's not completely free and there aren't a lot of chargers around the area. WE NEED MORE CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfectly Designed

This car is more like piloting an airplane than driving a car: totally smooth, totally controlled with instruments, everything about this car is more advanced than any ever made. There is no way to improve upon this car

A 4 out of 5 review provided because of minor issues and haven't driven the vehicle for only a short period.

Main concern is with the front molding holding up to regular wear and tear. I already have damage with less than 500 miles from some some kind of hard object kicked up from in front of me. I did not notice any kind of sound letting me know that it happened. Adjustment for the telescoping steering wheel should be longer to better provide a balance between arm and leg length. Convenient location for sun glasses storage would be utilized a lot. The open space between the driver and passenger under the cup holders is viewable from the outside, so considered pretty much useless.

Great first EV

Love love the Ioniq 6. Beautiful car. Love the many features that are in traditional vehicles. While the trunk space is small we make do as would not trade this car for any other. Hyundai continues to outdo itself!

Great car

Great styling and fun to drive. Love all the safety features. Smooth ride and loaded with all the features. Got the top of the line model. Would recommend the ionig6 to anyone wanting a fun car to drive.

Ioniq 6, The electric car I was waiting for

The Ioniq 6 provides cohesive, creative styling merged with solid build quality and top tier tech throughout all while providing an attractive value. I was holding on to my 2013 Nissan Leaf because I just loved the smooth quiet torque, low cost of operation and almost no maintenance. I wanted more range but I can't stand poor build quality with rattles and the like that can be a thing with Tesla. Finally the Ioniq 6 brought all the things I wanted in an electric while avoiding what I didn't. So far I am more than satisfied with the Ioniq 6 and the buying experience from my Kia dealer.

My First Electric Vehcle Ioniq 6

Hyundai has a great product in their hands and quite frankly I have no complaints about it. Charging is another matter. Electrify America is the most horrible company in the US. Their service is so horrible that it actually impacts the vehicle ownership experience.

The best EV on the market!

The best way I can describe the Ioniq 6 is that it is a dream to drive every time you get behind the wheel. It's smooth, quick, comfortable, and charges so quickly with a DC fast charger. Ambient lighting makes it feel so premium and futuristic. Also the HVAC is SO powerful and efficient. I've never had to put it above 1 fan speed!

Fantastic Car leased from Hyundai of Temecula

The Ioniq6 is a great car - have driven it 3400 miles and love it. Hyundai of Temecula is the best dealership and you won't go wrong with them! The car has great features and the technology is really good.

Love my Ioniq 6

Love my new electric vehicle. Can charge it at home using a regular outlet. There are so many options to set up to customize your experience. Very comfortable seating. Great acceleration. Love the beautiful red color and the air conditioned seats.

Not An Impressive Car

The UI looked dated and laggy. The interior seems to have more plastic than the model 3. The seating has plenty of leg room, but head room is cramped. Also the price is higher than a Model 3 by quite a bit but the acceleration is not near to the Model 3 AWD. I think it's absurd that ANY new car in 2023 doesn't have WIRELESS Apple car play. I probably wouldn't buy one that requires a wired connection in fact. There must be penny pinching decisions involved I assume- probably licensing fees to Apple. Integrated front and rear dash cams must come standard with all the trims at this point.

Go EV with Ioniq 6

Huyndai is leading the pack on EVs. The Ioniq 6 is so fun, sporty and all electric. The design is both functional and attractive. Given the ease and convenience of charging, we will never go back to a gas exclusive vehicle. We have never "loved" a vehicle before this one!

A fun and practical electric sedan

Looking for an electric sedan that comes from a well-known company with a great warranty? I chose the IONIQ6 SEL which has all the features I wanted: Android Auto, great range, advanced cruise control, and modern driver safety features. It's fun to drive but still relatively economical, coming in at under $50k. I've let others drive it, and now they're looking at getting one too!

charging time way to long. MPH speed o mete needs to be in center of dash

Speed o meter needs to be in center of dash display === 80+ hours is way to long charging time. I should NOT have to take eyes off road to adjust anything . Steering wheel wants to move off center of road, tires or steering ? Steering too sensitive.

Love everything about the IONIQ 6, including the beautiful red color! Appreciate all the safety features and the ease of using the screen and climate control--so glad every control isn't buried three screen menus deep

Overall, it's great, but we're dissatisfied with the media player and the climate control buttons. In most respect, it's a wonderful car and we're very pleased with it, especially with its styling, handling and the fact that it's electric.

Best Value for money

The best value for my money no doubt about it & it is also America’s best warranty. It also comes with 3 years/36,000 miles maintenance package. I wish i have lifetime free charging too! Maybe, in the future, they would include it!

A Car That Fits Me

I have been keeping up with this car's development since the concept that inspired it. To be able to have it now and still keeps my interest is great. I never thought I would buy Hyundai but I have to give credit where it's due. The design team in the recent years, great job for the turnaround. The Ioniq 5 is my second choice but always preferred my sport sedans. That being said, still getting used to the world of EVs, but I'm adjusting to it quite well. I just really wish it had wireless Apple CarPlay. Hopefully that's coming with a soon update. (Sep 21, 2023)
