Happy With It. . .So Far

Any "kinks" early on were taken care of at my local dealership. Was concerned because my garage charger was getting hot--both in the actual charger nozzle and my house plug in outlet. Dealer took care of it--now seems fine. Otherwise, car is working well, looks great. ..will be bringing in shortly for a 16,000 mile "check up."

Solid and enjoyable car. Comfortable and fun to drive.

Personally I don't like driving a whole lot but this car makes it a lot more enjoyable. Very comfortable, great range, can feel a little like a boat when you're in a tight parking lot but generally really nice. I got the lowest tier because I think that was plenty of car and the add on features were nice to haves and Hyundai is charging 10x what those features should cost to have in the car. I would love the card entry and the 120v AC outlets but the higher packages are way overpriced. Build quality is really solid but I did have an issue with the trunk where about 1 ~2 months it wouldn't detect that it was closed so I'd have to get out and reclose the trunk. I also had an issue, caused by a recall issue, where I needed to access the trunk by pulling a release mechanism in the backseats and then pull a releases in the trunk to open the charging port and both were difficult to pull and the charge port one didn't work. I'm 6'2 and work out regularly and if I was in an emergency situation I would be concerned about being able to do it. It feels like a cut corner to not think about it and it makes me concerned about all the things that haven't come up and is a big reason why I don't rate it higher. Because all the superficial things are phenomenal, but when I needed to use a safety feature it was difficult and didn't work.

Great ride!!

I bought this car to use around town and cut my fuel costs. Boy it sure did that. The 2nd month I had it I tracked my mileage and electricity use and did over 800 miles for $14.40. Add to that the pure fun of driving this extremely quick and agile vehicle and you can't lose.

Great car with a few small flaws

Had this car for two years and I love it. This was my first EV and I love the E-GMP platform. Car is comfortable, rides great, and has lots of cool tech. The adaptive cruise control and lane keeping work better than any other I've seen in every other vehicle I've driven the last 2 years. My only knocks against the car are the paint seems very thin for a premium product, no wireless Android Auto, and Hyundai's refusal to push new features to the car. I see the Ioniq 5 and Kona getting these features but nothing for the I6.

A very comfortable ride. It makes the commute more enjoyable

I love this car. It's comfortable and reliable. I have very minor critiques. The 2023 SEL model does not allow for wireless CarPlay functionality, and the parking sensors sometimes go off at random / can be overly sensitive. I wish this model of the car came with the power operated fold in mirrors as well, I didn't want to spring for the next level trim for that specific function. But all in all it's a fantastic vehicle and I would buy it again.

It's a great vehicle. The software needs work.

The car is efficient (3 mi/kwHr@ 75 mph), charges fast on 1,000v systems, and has good, not great, ADAS. The software UI is not intuitive, and things like one pedal driving, power mode, headlight function, etc. don't default to the last setting. You have to reset them every time. Battery preheat works well, but there is no manual setting: you have to put a charger location in the nav system. That works, but since Android Auto is far better nav system than any system in any car, the preheat should work when using AA. It doesn't . So you have to drop out of AA to use the onboard nav to heat the battery. Clunky. I don't have a HUD, but if I did, it wouldn't work w

Beautiful car. Drove nice and looked good. Not great for long trips. Could only get 290 miles a charge. Great for the city. Not enough charging stations for a long trips. Barely enough charging stations to keep charged for local drives.

Love this car

Fun car...fun to drive dun to look at...wish the milage was better because I have serious mileage issues with this car I was upset to find that you have to limit the charge by 40 PERCENT!!!!...not letting it go below 20 percent and not overcharge over 80 percent that cuts into the milage and really makes the car not as long distance as I would like

Fantastic

I love my ionic 6, I have trouble driving so this car is the best car I’ve bought several cars and I can drive it so easily. Electric was the best thing I ever did. Drives smooth. Great radio sound, I have no complaints about the vehicle.

Underrated Uniqeneness

Between the style, charging speed, and the range, I am surprised I don't see more of these on the road, we are in an SUV world now, but this puts swagger and class back in the sedan market where so many brands have left it behind, but Hyundai continues to bring the power and innovation!
