Ioniq 6 Great Car

Car is fun to drive and on a full charge, Spring & Fall, I can go almost 400 miles on a single charge. I have to say, I'm an economical driver so most will probably not get my range, but it is better than the promised 361-mile range. It has required no maintenance except a tire rotation. There are a few annoying quirks, such as it doesn't retain the i-pedal setting, which give maximum range, but defaults one step lower. It also would be nice to retain the infotainment settings after the initial startup. Charing has not been an issue, either public (2 years was included) or home charging. I only gave it an 8 on features, as I couldn't get it the way I wanted. I had to settle for what was available and I went 2 hours from my home for this car.

Nice ride but battery life is shaky

The Ionic 6 rides. Great and handles great with a nice quiet ride. The car has a great look and feel. The interior very comfortable and roomy. After almost 3 years, the battery life is starting to wear down slightly. Other than that, I think the vehicle has been awesome.

Don't buy the first model of a new car

Except for thew six weeks when the car was in the shop and Hyundai was trying to figure out what was wrong to fix the problems, I do like the car.

SAFEST CAR I've EVER had !

Beautiful EV and comfy ride

IONIQ 6 is a very attractive vehicle. Loved it. It was great with 2 year free charging package. Helped me ease into transitioning into owning an EV. Hyundai has a great maintenance package. So, overall cost of ownership so far, is excellent comparing to other vehicles. It does have a bit here & there recall, and minor stuff, but service would take care of it right away, and because it's not caused by owner, it's all under warranty.

Good car with quite a few small issues

The car is very comfortable to drive and looks great. However, there are a few issues that keep it from being great: * No ability to export usage and charging data. The app does not give enough information or store enough trips. I want to be able to export all data into CSV for my own information * No lock-on-walk-away - this should exist on all cars and is more desirable than unlock-on-approach * Autodimming of the screen and lights happens way too easy, such as passing under an underpass. Give it 10 seconds before dimming to verify and that would probably solve the issue. * The rear camera is pretty rough in all but ideal conditions. At night, the brake lights ensure you'll never see out the camera and when it rains, there's a decent chance you won't be able to make out what's on camera * No ability to set the default screen when turning on the vehicle. I always connect my phone through bluetooth (for music) and would prefer the default home screen be the bluetooth media screen

Best automobile I have owned!

There are many features that are great and probably found on many other automobiles both electric and non-electric. This is my first electric automobile and I love all of the features. Most of all I find it the most comfortable car I have owned and especially easy to get into and outof.

I think I bought a lemon

A few months ago my vehicle started having issues with the electrical system. I have taken it to the dealer 4-5 times and usually I can't get more than 15 minutes away from the dealer when the issues reappears. I have to bring it back again this week. I think this car is a lemon.

Overall a well built vehicle.

Vehicle is well made, and performs well in all three drive modes. Includes numerous safety features not found on all vehicles being sold today. Seems to get twice a year over-the-air updates to system software, but rarely are you told what is changing, so sometimes the change catches you off guard *while driving* when previous known functions are now handled differently. AND....Still has the AC charging problem after several recall fixes to correct the known problem. Often loses over 15% of the charging rate in less than an hour after connecting due to "charger overheating" even in winter and below freezing temperatures. That is the biggest negative after now two years of ownership.

Love my Ioniq 6

I have been an electric car driver for 13 years. When I was in the market for a new one I went to look at an Ioniq 5. It was parked next to a 6. I drove the 6 home. I love driving it, I think it looks great, it is fun, no regrets.
