2025 Ioniq 5 Limited

So far we are really liking our Ioniq 5. We've taken a couple longer trips, and although it takes a little planning for charging, it worked out just fine. Fast charging is not that hard.

Love my I5

Very nice car. Went from a 2013 Tesla Model S. Obviously 12 years of newer tech. This car is well done. The vision feature that attempts to warn me of my lane awareness has a lot to be desired. It is very often warning me falsely. The other thing I absolutely HATE are the Bluelink notifications. That SUCK. They Lie. They're stupid. So I just turned it off. = (

Very happy with my Ionic now named Ellie (after Eleanor Roosevelt)

Very happy with my Ionic. I LOVE having a fully electric vehicle, even living in a rural area. She is comfortable, sooo quiet, very smooth ride and lots of oomph going up hills.

So much to learn. Repeat emails helpful

Difficult have not driven that much Gear shift in strange place wipers get turned on trying to shift can not see info on dash to tell you what you are doing

solid built, but not comfortable

I can't find a relax seating position. Seat is poorly designed at least for asian body. extremely lack of any support, shoulder, lumbar, leg, you name it. The interior has weird odor/smell for new car. Now it's already half a year but still pretty significant. Should improve better eco material for interior built.

My Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT is comfortable inside, and a pleasure to drive. The exterior design and the sporty XRT trim look great. The vehicle is loaded with safety features, and Hyundai support for its EV's is excellent.

My wife and I are both in our 70’s. The New Ionic fits us well. We drive it locally, or regionally. Plenty of power. Easy to charge. And definitely easy to drive.

Great overall styling and packaging.

1. I have only had the vehicle for 2 months, but I love the styling, design, and all of the options that come on the Limited trim. The only thing that is lacking is the automatic walk-away door locking that I had on my previous vehicle. 2. I chose a Limited RWD because it was impossible to find an Ioniq 5 Limited AWD in Central Florida. I know that most of the AWD models are shipped up north, but there should be more AWD models allocated to the southern dealerships, and it would have been nice to have that option.

Great until it's not

We started strong with this car. Had all the bills all the whistles everything I wanted no major complaints little things like no scratches. A little easier on the inside is scuffing needed to replace the floor mats with all weather mats just a little tweaks that needed to get done but then I go outside to get in turn opens the door turns on warnings that the electrical system is having problems. It gives me enough time to drive it out of my parking garage to the street side where the tow truck can get to it from there gets towed to the dealership and I'm waiting to get it back because of electrical problems. This is an electric car. You don't want the car telling you. There's a problem with the electrical system so I like the car I'm just worried about how dependable it is fingers crossed that it turns out to be a good car in the end.

Fun to drive, accommodating for 4. Feels unreliable with regard ti the 12v battery and the overall control module. Expensive to purchase and the operating cost seems like it is going to be in the higher side (to be further evaluated.
